At first I thought this was gonna be good! Anticipated to watch it! But then the more I got into it the more it felt like watching 2012...the effects were good but the story was bland and a lot of non-realistic events. I will say this movie was action packed. Dwayne Johnson did good at being is "hard" self. I will say the story line to this movie was better then 2012, only for the sake there was more of a developed plot. A lot of up and down climaxes which made it interesting to watch throughout, but the movie did have its dull moments. All around, just watch it. I see a lot of mixed reviews and it comes down to what taste you have in movies. As for me, I'm glad I saw it. It was good, just not really good. But I probably won't watch it again.

I was amazed by this movie. Thought it was gonna be just another cheesy kids horror movie, but I was surprised that it wasn't! The movie had a good plot and the "twist" in the movie was unexpected to me, which made it even better! Visual effects weren't that bad. The makeup could've been done better, but for budget wise was pretty good. Surprisingly, the guy behind the camera did pretty well! The direction of the film had some good shots but mostly just basic film capturing. Dove Cameron and Ryan McCartan were the two actors I recognized in this film. Their acting was pretty descent. I think Dove Cameron was the better actress out of this film. It seems like she works with her role and makes her character the best she can! Anyways, I really would take a shot on this film before turning it down. I really think this movie will surprise you, but probably won't scare you!

I wish the script was well written a little better. I feel like for a comedy movie it was pretty dry. The camera shook at points. Acting was OK for the script that they had to deal with. The plot went by too quick and the twist in the movie could've been brought to us at a more shocking moment. I love Reese and I think she was kinda bland for this role. Not much acting involved. Her acting in this film reminds me of Four Christmasas, which I loved! But to see it again is kinda old. Vergara, was funnier then Reese. She kinda brought the comedy aspect to the film. But parts of this film where like you've seen them in films before this. I think the originality lacks in this one. Would I see it again? Maybe due to the fact I love Reese, but I'd probably just watch Four Christmasas.
