Oh! Brothers (2003)

Excellent Film

This movie contains a strong chemistry of two brothers from different mother. The movie is very slow and confusing for the first half. But as time passes, you will be very absorbed into the story and it's characters. They two characters later creates a strong relationship, bond, and trust against each other. It make you care about them and wonder what has happened to them. There are many humours and drama in this movie... I wouldn't reccomend this movie for a young family. It has some sexual humours and excessive language. The moral taught in this lesson is powerful and great. It will move your heart and make you want to watch the movie again! Excellent acting, Good scenario, and nice humour! Definately a movie not to miss.

Kaç Para Kaç (1999)

Great Movie

This was my first Turkish movie and I love it! The actors do a great job and makes you really care for them. The plot is made with some twists and turns. Excellent Scenario, acting, characters, and music. Even though I was a little disappointed with the ending, I loved it. It showed how society has turned evil because of money.

Excellent Rom/Com

This movie was a well filmed work of art based on a Japanese novel. It was a hit in the Korean Box Office. There were some funny moments, but not that many. I have to say, this movie reminded me of Madeleine. However, this Romance movie was quite unusual. It wasn't boring, and yet, there was no solid resolution. The story line was very interesting and original. The acting was okay, and the OST was great. If you are a fan of Korean Drama, you'll probably enjoy this little flick. Odd Film

My Wife Is a Gangster 2 (2003)

Interesting Movie

I've watched this movie with a low expectation. Probably, because the critics gave such horrible reviews. But right from the start the movie grabs your attention. Especially, if you watched the first one and you liked it, you'll love this one. I thought the story was well carried out. The second one has more action and better story. Even though it is not as funny as the first one, I would definitely reccommend the second one. If you like Korean Action/Comedy movies, do not miss this one! Just as hilarious as the first!

My Teacher, Mr. Kim (2003)

Nice Touching Film

I personally enjoyed this films, very much, because I grew up and spent my childhood in Korea. It showed a lot of similarities between my teachers and Seung-won Cha. He played the part wonderfully, I think he is a great actor. He is bound of become big as he grows older. He was the perfect person to choose for this role... Except he was a little young. Anyways, the concept of this film is very simple, but there are so much to learn from film. It shows a great amount of emotion and bonding. I would reccommend it to any students around the world. Its truly a great family film!

Save the Green Planet! (2003)

Well Crafted Film

This movie was quite a shock, when I first watched it. It did very badly in the Korean Box office. But however, this films has some elements that I've never seen in a film before. It has almost all the genre you could think of. Its funny, serious, thrilling, sad, shocking, and the plot that will grab your attention from beginning of the movie. However, some people might not like it... because they might think is some stupid sci-fi junk that has been made before. But I strongly disagree. Watch this film! and you won't regret!

After, I watched the films... I thought, "Why the heck was this film such a high success in the Korean Box Office?" Even thought the movie had a clever/unusal scenario, the acting wasn't that good and the characters weren't very interesting. For a Korean movie... I liked the fighting scenes. If you want to watch a film without thinking, this is the film for you. But I got to admit... the film was kind of childish... 6/10

The Color of Paradise (1999)

GREAT FILM!

First off, I do not speak Farsi and I am background is not Iran. This was the first Iranian movie I've seen. I've have expected this kind of wonderful work. Color of Paradise was a movie about a little blind boy going to hard times as he grows up. He has a grandmother that adores and a cruel father deading to get rid of him. I won't go any further. Watch this films, its a beautiful masterpiece. The valleys and the flowers are fantastic. Its filled with rich bright colors, and movie will emotional... Deeply touch you. If you've never watched an Iranian movie before, watch this one quick!

Memories of Murder (2003)

Shocking/Tense/Unbelievable!

I've just watched this movie with my children... They were half scared to death, after the movie was over. My mouth was open for several minutes after the movie was over... It was so unexpected. This movie is a must watch for all the Asian Cinema fans. It just came out on DVD and you should get it RIGHT NOW! The acting is excellent and the scenario is just so thrilling! the first quarter of the movie is confusing and slow, but as soon as you get into it, you'll love it.
