Action packed but forgot the plot
1 November 2021
If you're looking for an afternoon of fight scenes and explosions, this is your film. However, if you want to watch a serious film avoid it, the plot lacks coherence and logic. It is entertaining on a very basic level, but the characters are two dimensional, and the storyline is full of holes, and nonsensical. Add to that poor acting and all you get is a disastrous movie. I wouldn't recommend it.

Whoever was in charge of the script should be fired
25 August 2019
Granted I was only in the theater to watch glorious Gerard Butler (who by the way is no aging well). Yes, I wasn't expecting a masterpiece, I had seen the previous two movies. It was supposed to be a fun easy to watch action movie, where things are not what they seem to be.

Let's just say that the plot is quite predictable, but yet that is not the worst. The CGI was poor. The scenes and situations were extremely forced. After two movies with pretty much the same plot, you need to innovate. However, and to me that was just ridiculous, they showed not once, but twice how stupid they think the police is. Twice there were roadblocks trying to capture Mr Butler's character that the police decided to place right after the road diverted in two, therefore granting the protagonist a way out.

All in all, the plot was full of holes that made it boring and unbelievable, in the worst of meanings. And the extra footage at the end just proved that they didn't take the film seriously at all.

Blindspot: Lepers Repel (2017)
Season 2, Episode 22

Barely making any sense
18 May 2017
Warning: Spoilers
I am a devoted follower of this show. I have rooted for it since its beginnings and always hoped that it would get renewed. I was so happy when I heard there was going to be a season 3. However, this episode was clearly written in a rush.

Everything has been pushed to fit, no matter how incongruous or ridiculous it seemed. The Sandstorm plot has been "written off" in a way that makes no sense, and satisfies nobody. The fact that the writers have left an open door to a continuation by allowing Roman to get away is ridiculously mind blowing. In a stupid scene, where anyone who has been following Blindspot knows that Jane would've handcuffed him, of course she would've never shot him though! And to add insult to injury, that love declaration!, it felt so forced and out of place. The fact that Jane and Kurt are allowed their love affair seems to end the whole show, but wait a sec, NO, in an even more pathetic turn of events we are flash-forwarded two years into the future. We are shown a moment in which Jane has apparently left her husband (Kurt) but they clearly still love each other, no matter how deeply hurt either might be, and he goes after her because almost the entire team has been kidnapped by someone unknown, who's left a box that can only be opened by both of them. Not only that, but inside of which They find an artifact that once again when operated by the two of them at the same time allows them to get her tattoos to glow, as if that trick had not been worked on before!

Although it pains me to say this, it might be time for me to say goodbye to Blindspot, even if only after two seasons. Why oh why?

Expected much more than what I got
15 January 2012
This is my first review. I feel compelled to write it, because although I'm not particularly fond of LeCarré's work, I do like almost each any every one of the actors in this movie. I found it was confusing, but not due to a complex narrative, or fast pace (which it lacks), but because it makes no sense at all. You might come out of the theater thinking, yeah there was a spy and it was difficult to catch him, and the storyline was dark and twisted. Actually it was pretty straight forward. It was a little bit foreseeable, and to make it worse many scenes added no meaning whatsoever to the plot. I want to believe that the book was much more interesting, and that some random and unnecessary details shown in the movie, have a strong impact on the story.

I would recommend that you watch it and come to your own conclusions. These are just mine.
