Can you have a feel good story inside an action movie? YES, YES, YES you can. I have no idea why the reviews for this are so bad. I love the Farmers guy who plays the General and my main guy from strike force/blind spot. This is an action story with a sprinkle of history. There's definitely comic relief throughout the movie so nothing too tens, nothing bloody, just good old fashion explosions! If you can believe it, even my husband even enjoyed it too. My bar for a good movie is always was I entertained for the time I was watching and did I forget about my world for the duration and therefore I give it two thumbs up.

I am a huge fan of Jennifer Lawrence. This looked clean and cute. When she promoted the movie, she said it was THE FUNNIEST SCRIPT SHE HAD EVER READ.
Really really wanted to laugh out loud and love this! I've been wanting for it to be released at home. Jennifer looks fantastic after having a baby and slapstick comedy was new for her.
Unfortunately, it was just too predictable and not funny.
My bar isn't high, if I'm ENTERTAINED for 2 hours it's a WIN. If I can forget about my life for 2 hours, it's a WIN. But this was not funny and the back story was sad and weak....sadly.

I was rating a 7, until the final episode made it an 8.5! I watch TV to be entertained. Every episode was delivered, was original, and the music was fantastic. I watched all of it within two days.
I am so glad I ignored all the negative reviews. The series was suspenseful and kept me intrigued for all 6 episodes.
Forget the terrible reviews. I Do NOT Get the Hate. The category is literally labeled "sci-fi romance", and that IS EXACTLY WHAT IT IS. SMH.
The storyline is well-crafted, and a suspenseful plot keeps you engaged from start to finish. The series focuses on the challenges and dangers of space exploration is both educational and entertaining. I enjoyed seeing what Central/Eastern Europe can do with science-fiction-ish storylines. I enjoyed hearing Polish spoken, with Russian, as needed for the scenes which takes place in Russia. Without Netflix, I would never have had the opportunity to watch this love SCI-FY story.
Storyline, music and the whole ambiance is making you watch episode by episode. You will immediately fall in love with the characters, and find one which will be closest to your heart. If you are sci-fi fan, you will find something for you. The special effects shows the space in intriguing and beautiful manner. If you are looking for a fresh love story, this series will this series will provide you with, not an easy, but deep one. Music is a perfect, complementary touch which take the story to a different level. I see that there was a lot of love and work put into this production, as every detail is refined. Watch to see by yourself.
There is a balance of humor and drama, with the two different time periods clearly delineated with different actors and actresses. That said, it it was easy and enjoyable to follow. It was not overpowering with intense action scenes; it has a nice balance between conversation and action. Sets and locations were all good. Nice work on the part of Polish Netflix! Looking forward to Season 2!

Grooming, News to Me

I don't have kids and this topic was shocking and thought provoking. The influence teachers have, usually good, to conduct this grooming in scary. These are young girls, not women, being grinned and taken advantage of by grown men.
The way school boards handle the misconduct of these teachers is a disgusting display of passing the buck. The laws need to change. So many more students traumatized because proper action was not taken. The victim blaming must stop! This should be required viewing for all school personnel. I
Cheryl is incredibly brave to share her experiences. Obviously, she's not the first or last victim. I hope she gets an Emmy nod.

We go to the movies to check out and be entertained. This movie did just that, a FANTASTIC story where you root for wonderful characters. Take the movie at face value and don't compare to the original or the "truths" and you will feel good at the end of this wonderful movie.

F the critics. This is fantastic IF YOU SAW THE FIRST TWO MOVIES. M. Night takes us on a rollercoaster. You feel for each character. The psych ward is spot on. This is insanely great! Everything comes together. James needs an OSCAR for all of those personalities. This will be a cult classic.
