Legally Blondes (2009 Video)

Disappointing
16 October 2013
I loved Legally Blonde (first one) and Legally Blonde Red white and blonde.

What was so disappointing was not the acting, but the complete lack of any appearance by the character Elle Woods. While Reese Witherspoon was a producer, her character was completely erased from the movie.

Her character could have been fitted in, but the writers could have cared less abut the audience. I didn't buy the story that she was busy lobbying in Washington. If true, like the movies before, Elle Woods could have been in those scenes, like she was in the previous legally Blonde.

Also, in the previous movies, she often went back and forth to LA. This movie she literally disappeared. And not single photo of her wedding or Emmett in her home, leading me to believe her marriage did not last long, since it was said to be HER home, not theirs.

Very disappointed at the changes
16 March 2013
Without Larry Hagman, it was terrible for me. They should have paid Larry Hagman enough to still be Tony.

Even worse, when Jeannie went back in history to show how they met on the beach, it was nothing like how they really met, and changing Tony even going back to the beach was a brutal mistake.

As a big fan of the original series, this flopped for me during the whole movie. The chemistry between Tony and Jeannie disappeared.

Just like in the original series, Jeannie's sister tried to break them apart. Evidently it worked in this movie (Very fitting as the 'new' Tony Nelson was horrible with the relationship with Jeannie anyway).

The ending was also bad. It was not like Jeannie to leave, but I understand now since the new Tony was nothing like the original.

Perhaps younger people who never watched the series didn't notice how far it went from the original and rated higher, and am sad about that.

All around it was so disappointing.

Very disappointed in the main character Hayden
8 November 2012
The plot and the character of the main actor, Hayden Panettiere, is excruciating.

Weak plot, and while I always liked Hayden Panettiere, her character is a disappointing shallow, selfish, temperamental, and heartless singer that will do anything to get ahead, like stealing singer from Connie Britton.

If she was a real singer, I would never see her concert knowing what kind of heartless person she really is.

The writers should have written a plot with Hayden like the many down to earth country stars that exist.
