The Undoing (2020)
Good but a bit disappoint
First two episodes are very good, in a psychological thriller way.
Then, the next 2,5 are a bit boring and very prolonged in time, giving us the idea that the same story could be told in half the time.
The plot is very consistent and it is a must see item to everyone that likes a good thriller.
Hugh Grant has a very good performance, especially in the last episode.
Nicole Kidman's performance rarely disappoints and in this case, the viewer is also doubting what her character is planning or thinking.
Donald Sutherland also with a good performance.
Noah Jupe Is going to be a great actor!
L'attesa (2015)
Must see but should be a little smaller.
Without any planning, in the last few days I saw 2 films starring Lou de Laâge and although with completely different characters in both films (L'attesa and Respire) I was pleased with her capacity to enter the role . Juliette Binoche is as always one of the best actresses of her generation and always make great performances. About this L'attesa I can say that although in some parts the film goes a bit too long in the suspense, the story is well written and better represented by the cast. The image plans are very good but sometimes too still. But it is a must see film. A very good work from Francesco Di Giacomo However the story is never totality told to the audience, letting one always thinking ahead.
Sangailes vasara (2015)
Good Film
One beautiful story narrated with several stand still moments but not in excess. The photography of the film and the landscapes used are simple and a the same time extraordinary. Julija Steponaityte can show us the feelings inside of a troubled young woman, without too much words. Her expressions make us understand what the character is felling and the troubles that goes on her life. Aiste Dirziute plays a much different character but also very emotional and also has the capacity to make one simpatize with her character. This film is a story where a fight for love of one character colides with a lack of willing to live of the other, but the two are important to outcome of the plot. Extraordinary direction and photography of Alante Kavaite, capturing the moments without staying to long in them but also without staying little time in them. Must see
Jenny's Wedding (2015)
A Filme about Coming Out
Despite being made in an romantic away, this film shows with some accuracy how a daughter of a working class family manages her coming out with the problems that may occur in the her family.
Although I am not a puritan, this film shows a gay relationship without any sex scene, stranger friends of the couple or tattoos, proving that there is not any shame if it happens in our own family. What I want to say is that is possible to make a film about one women coming out without use the normal "clichés" that are associate with this kind o films.
Good performance of Katherine Heigl and Tom Wilkinson.
Must see.
Chloe & Theo (2015)
A Green Fairy Tail
A Good script, a touching story and a simple way of telling the story. Do not expect the greatest of the movies but, can expect: simple directing, simple starring and a simple movie. It makes one think. Good job from Dakota. Must See In a time when everybody wants the new gadget, the more fashion clothes, the super car, this movie makes us think, just for a while, that we must take care of the planet, so that our grand grand Childs still can live here. Movies should do at least one of the following: entertain, make us think or makes disconnect for a brief moment in time. This movie makes us think, but both Dakota and Theo, makes us disconnect.
