The Exorcist (1973)
DONT WATCH ALONE OR AT NIGHT
I'm pretty sure that my wife saw this movie to young. She will not watch it at night or alone. The first time I saw The Exorcist was on tv. When I first watched the movie uncut, I was so shocked and freaked out that I started laughing. A very strong R for extremely graphic language. Catholics grab your Rosary. There are some things that a crucifix just should not be used for. It's enough to make your head spin around. I suddenly have a craving for Split Pea soup. But seriously folks, if you have never seen this movie completely uncut, you are truely missing the very best parts! Watch it with someone you love and trust and no matter how much your kids beg you, if they are under 13, no way in hell!
Dark (2017)
NEED A NEW SHOW TO WATCH?
If you're tired and bored with all the remakes and the same old, tired concepts re-imagined over and over and are looking for something new, original, and differant, Dark is the answer. My wife "made me" start watching 1899 and I loved it, which of course, is what lead me to Dark.
The entire dialog of the series is spoken in German. Dark sucks you in and will consume 100 % of your attention. I had to dub the dialog in English because it was to distracting to read subtitles. Someone could rob my house while I'm watching Dark and I wouldn't know it lol. This show is mind bending and thrilling. My only complaint is there are only 3 seasons.
Miracle on 34th Street (1994)
Pretentious
Overall, an enjoyable Christmas movie. As long as you set reality aside and admit that most of the world does not live in a city like Manhattan, New York or a lavish, Fully furnished, palashal estate. Merry Christmas.
Star Trek: Lower Decks (2020)
Open your mind and allow yourself to laugh
I am one of those Trekers who thinks nothing will ever be better than TNG, DS9, and VOY and that JJ Abrams ruined Star Trek. Give this show a shot. Lots of subtle references to all the Star Trek stuff we love. There's enough negativity and sadness in the world today. Take a minute and laugh. LLAP!
Cosmos: Possible Worlds (2020)
A cosmic journey
Imagine a show that takes you on a cosmic journey in your mind. A journey to the farthest edges of the known multiverse and your own backyard. This show will make you think and question everything you think you know about science, space, and your place in the grand design. So sit back and behold a wonderous adventure.
Star Trek: Discovery (2017)
HOW MANY PREQUELS/TIMELINES DO WE NEED?
I consider myself a simple minded person. We have now had 3 movies and 2 TV shows since the end of what I call the modern Star Trek era (after ST: Nemesis and after ST: Voyager).
Why do we have to keep going backwards? Why do we need yet another timeline, to help us go backwards?
Am I the only one who would like to see a USS Enterprise (NCC-1701-F)?
Stop looking to the past and go boldly forward to the future. No more revisiting and reinventing the past. The undiscovered country is out there and the Enterprise-F can take us there.

Lost (2004)
LOST in my own mind
I am currently watching Season 2 of Lost. One thought keeps going through my mind. REAL PEOPLE STRANDED ON AN ISLAND AFTER A PLANE CRASH WOULD NOT ACT LIKE THAT! Would they?
Maybe I'm taking the entire show way to seriously. My list of "issues" with this show is far to extensive to list here. I like the show and I'm going to keep watching it because it is entertaining and I have loyalty issues.
Any friendly advise to help me see what I might be missing here?
Teen Wolf (2011)
Don't be afraid
I watched my first episode of Teen Wolf out of sheer boredom. As a man, I felt "funny" watching it. Ready to minimize the screen or "X" out of it if my wife or one of my kids entered the room. Silly? Maybe. I guess now I can say Teen Wolf is a guilty pleasure of sorts. I watched Teen Wolf...and I liked it. Season two promises to be scarier and a little darker, which hopefully will open it up to a wider audience. Overall, a decent show with much potential.
My favorite part so far would have to be when Stiles "uses" Derek to convince his lab partner to trace a cell phone call. Of course later, Derek slams Stiles' head into the steering wheel of his car and says, "and you know what that was for!"
