Pussy Kills (2017)
Sexy Lina Maya kicks a*#
I saw this movie only because I wanted to see more of sexy Latin actress Lina Maya. She's all over this kicking ass and looking as sexy as ever. The role fits her very well. She did a great job. Overall, I liked the movie. It was highly sexual and had lots of kill scenes, much more than any of the other rape-revenge movies I've seen in recent times. I also liked the tongue-in-cheek comedy in it. Worth the watch.
The Forgotten Father (2008)
A Solid Drama
The forgotten Father is an urban drama that I got the chance to see when it won for Best Feature Film at the New York International Independent Film and Video Festival in 2009. It's a really good movie that shows how far a father goes in order to be with his son.
The story is unique and true. The drama is real. And the performances are really moving. Nick Simmons does a great job but I particularly liked the performances of the the little kid and the mother's thuggish boyfriend. I think the movie dwells on a subject matter that resonates with everyone because of the times we live in. There's always some unwanted son or some forgotten father out there.
It's a really good film. Definitely worth the watch.
High School Gig (2010)
The Girl Next Door meets Risky Business
This movie is like 'The Girl Next Door' meets 'Risky Business' meets the independent flick 'The Babysitters'. Worth the watch. Has a couple of laughs at the beginning. As it progresses it gets darker and more suspenseful than the movies mentioned above. Shows how evil teenagers can be. Shows what young immigrants have to resort to in order to survive.
The sex scenes are pretty funky; I liked the car scene. Hadn't seen a scene like that since 'Y Tu Mama Tambien'. I also liked the ending. It's not your typical Hollywood ending but it goes with the character. Very well done for a low-budget film.
