Mr. & Mrs. Smith (2024– )

What did I just watch? Boring! Skip it!
4 February 2024
Will start by stating that I did watch the movie with the same name and that is not the reason that made me watch this show. The main reason being that I love Thrillers/Spy/Crime shows.

I have watched 4 episodes till this review, hope the rest are better.

That being said, this show is listed as Drama&Thriller, but is indeed a Drama, Romance, Comedy with some Action.

There is too much back&forth useless nonsense and too much damn romance.

When there's actually some action, it fails miserably short and sometimes they cut it to another scene and you actually have to guess what happened. Like with a fight in the Italian ski thingy.

Also they made both characters dumb as hell most of the time.

Want to see some good spy stuff with Drama/Thriller/Comedy/Action with amazing acting? Try Slow Horses.

Edit after all eps: A utter mess. Skip this one.

Wanted to love this. The video edit is so BAD!
4 January 2024
This could&should be good like the rest of all AGT editions.

A few of the greatest acts ever are back, but instead of presenting them, we've been presented with a "on steroids" edition, that delivers a fast forward presentation at x4... Every act is almost presented at x4 speed, the camera changes are really weird, really bad at timing, utter nonsense!.

You mostly see the judges reactions and not the act itself.

Without adds, this is like 1h20m episodes. With adds like 2h.

Some of the acts are just bad and shouldn't even got invited to this kind of eliminations within short time.

Happy that Mel B is back, sad for Sofia tho.

Really hope they get a way better editor for the final video cut.

*Edit 1: EP 2 is way better in everything I disliked.

Nothing Average about this Domino effect show!
1 November 2023
I was truly not expecting much besides some laughs and not getting bored. And hell did it deliver that and so much more!

This is really a domino effect roller-coaster from episode one to the end, one f"#$"%& up after the other leading to another f"#%$ up that they need to address and try to fix leading to another problem that they will ultimately fix.

This kept me glued to the screen every episode.

The acting is amazing, everyone is just perfect with their parts and the script is just brilliant. Deon Cole and Cynthia Kaye McWilliams steal the show. Malcolm Barrett is also brilliant, but shadowed by the above.

The only annoying act I suppose was given from Tammy Townsend, I don't know if it was scripted or not, but for me it was very annoying.

Cant wait for season 2.

Anxiety-inducing mostly like someone said
11 July 2022
Huge fan of Rowan in everything he does, but this felt really different, I felt like rooting for the character and that really made me anxious and uncomfortable enough to barely enjoy most of the hilarious parts, and believe me, he provides alot. Probably he should add his daughter if we get a new season.

Don't get me wrong, its pure Rowan out there, and brilliant as usual, but the character makes you feel empathy for him, and that induced me to not having the fun I was expecting.

This should happen more often!
8 July 2022
Like it or not, the golden buzzer is almost always very emotional and well deserved, on a side note, they should be able to give it more times per episode ;). Pretty sure if anyone search for "golden buzzer" will stay a few hours watching some epic performances. This show is still really bad explored over the afterwards.

Think all the 15 from this EP are well deserved, sad that there is too many for the 1:25h episode.

Its a Drama!!! Stop waiting for a reboot or whatever!
14 February 2022
First of all, people really need to start reading about the shows before they watch them or rate. Trailers are everywhere for appreciation before you post senseless things.

Secondly, I did ask for a reboot, not as drama, but hey, its brilliant the same.

NO ONE said this was a comedy or a 2022 version of Will Smith with grey hair!

Ok... now, after watching 3 eps, I can say this is actually a pretty good show, actors are almost always on point, script is very good, story is actually amazing, just give everyone involved some time to achieve excellency!

For those saying uncle Phil is the only good one, I actually feel like the script for him is way short for him to even shine for now.

Carlton and Will have sweet scripts, as aunt Viv does, and for me the one actually shining for now.

I am loving what everyone involved is trying to do, show us an almost unknown/more real life side, back story and circumstances of The Fresh Prince by drama, and its brilliant! Also exploring other things deeper than The Fresh Prince showed us.

Jazz is very good, Geoffrey, Phil and the kids need more time/script, Hilary is going places. Aunt Viv is a star!

Cant wait for more!

Confusing waste of time
23 January 2021
Believe me, I've tried 2 times to understand this one. First time, quit after 50 minutes, second time after 20. Jeremy Brett wild mood swings were easier to follow.

Too short! Funny anyway.
27 January 2015
Felt like this one is a compilation of really good trailers from a future more complete Blu-ray release. When it ended i felt like: "What the hell?!?!? Where's the end?" Couldn't stop thinking and feeling this one was a teaser for something complete and better. Found myself imagining the rest of Ireland and Israel show, it must have been funny as hell! Jeff's jokes were just perfect, he really studied some of the countries bads&goods for the jokes, Achmed in Abu Dhabi its just fun to think about. Reaction from public in Israel is perfect, and in Ireland is amazing, those guys know how to laugh and get the jokes without getting mad. Ohh well, all in all, its a pretty good compilation, i just hope they release Ireland or Israel complete show for us mortals.

My 7 years old kid said it was so much fun!
27 October 2014
Really can't believe this one is so underrated. I lived the 80s and for sure i was expecting some weird covers but hey, while i was singing along and ignoring the actual story of the movie, acting was really decent and the singing is actually amazing from all the actors. Give it a break guys, can't do nothing about you being borne in the 2000s. Mamma Mia was good, yes, but this one is quite brilliant also, even more when they offer a less known cast. My 7 year old daughter loved it all, from beginning to the end, she danced along, sang along, and even asked me why she have never seen this songs on TV... well, had to show her on youtube and she loved them all. Great songs, great performances, brilliant singing. 10 out of 10 as i loved it and my kid also.

Absolutely brilliant!
5 March 2014
I had the blue-ray for this one in the shelve for a few weeks now, waiting for the right mood to watch it, on a family Sunday, bad Saturday, whatever, what I really don't know, is why the hell I waited so long!! For a start i love all the main actors, but in this case, even the secondary ones were lovely and made their fine part (Romany Malco, Jerry Ferrara). Morgan is just awesome, hes scene leaving the bedroom is just hilarious i almost peed my pants; Kevin Kline is unforgettable, he always gives the funniest quotes; Michael is perfect in the role, and they gave him the not so much fun part; and De Niro, well, De Niro is De Niro, you can actually mix all of his acting and know what to wait in this one as a character, and sh$%@it bricks laughing anyway. Mary Steenburgen is the sweetest thing, and she did her job brilliantly. I am 37, loved this one not because its sweet, but because by the end of it, i wanted more, and i really felt my life is in fact better than I use to think about it, sometimes i felt like one of them. Worth the $$, and i would love to see a Part 2. Felt there's still hidden stories to tell about between Michael and De Niro aha.

Glee goes to Hollywood! Fun to watch if you like Glee.
19 October 2012
Warning: Spoilers
Well, for those expecting drug abuse and satanic rituals, sorry, not on this one. There are NONE, or even any subtle address to it. It just plays along without any of it, and thanks for that, my 6 year old kid loved the songs, the dancing and didn't ask me about what's cocaine, etc, etc. Now for my summary, yeah, i watched Glee TV series and i quited because it is now boring and repetitive. You can compare some things, like the gay "guy", the Latin, the ugly, the fat, and the "Rock 'n Roll" one, its all there, guess Adam Shankman watched it all the way. Now for it for true, its a fun movie, with not that bad acting, Tom Cruise is great, Russell Brand is perfect, Catherine Zeta-Jones OMG shes so hot, Alec Baldwin tries and is good enough. Now where the hell did they find Diego Boneta? Worst of the flick. Didn't even know Julianne Hough well, but she was good enough for the script, and a poor one BTW. All the other acting&singing were good enough for the purpose. Just watch this like a Season Finale Glee episode and its all good. P.S.- Mia Michaels Choreographies rock!

"Hating Sandler gives people the delusion of sophistication; thinking they actually have standards, they pretend to disdain vulgarity."
21 July 2012
First of all, i think people just forgot comedy is comedy, not a romance, drama or horror movie, it can be a swearing godlike movie, gross, have too much sexual conotations, be shocking and against all religious views or politically correct standards.

If you're too much into religion or get too shocked with swearing, naked people, jokes about almost everything, go and watch Bambi and skip this one. Don't just judge the movie because you hate Adam Sandler.

Movie is funny, hilarious sometimes, i've seen all Adam Sandler's movies and this one is one of his best. Yes, he made some less good movies the past years, but this one is back to the roots, and its funny as hell! Just don't waste your time to go see this one if you hate Adams flicks just so you under rate this one. Loved the movie, and its 10 out of 10 as a comedy movie.

Give it a try, its superb!
26 December 2010
I don't usually comment often here at IMDb, but as before, i felt a desire to share what i felt when it really deserves it. First of all, i was never a huge fan of Michael Jackson, sure, i loved a few of his hits, i even danced like crazy a few of them, but the true point here is, that this is not a music videos compilation of him, neither the story of his life, sadly, the show didn't go on, i'm pretty sure i would pay to see it live. This piece of art allowed me to see and to know a really different Michael from what you are injected from TV and news about him, his relationship with everyone involved with the rehearsal, a great director, the musicians, it was just overwhelming, his commitment to the show, to the acting, so everything goes the way that he feels that people watching deserve to see and enjoy... just superb. It's a true chance for everyone to see how things are done, the work it takes to make it happen, and a little smell of the final work. Michael is to be respected as one of the performers i feel that respected his fans the most, and gave them the best. 10 out of 10 Rest in Peace.

Really.. even my 6 and 3 year old kids hated it.
7 March 2010
First, this is my first post ever, for the last 6 years i never bored to post, but i felt so ripped off by this movie i felt the need to avoid anyone else to watch it. Where should i start? Bad acting, bad script, really bad story.. The way the minotaur gets killed is a true pain to watch, every single fight is a pain to watch... everything looks and are acted so fake that i couldn't believe my eyes weren't bleeding. Nice special effects yes, the monster and creatures are well done, but that doesn't really enhance all the rest. My 6 and 3 years old kids hated it, and thats enough for me as a "review". Really, don't wast your time or your kids time watching this, believe me, its a pain to watch.
