The Fairly OddParents: Abra Catastrophe! (2002)
Funny, funny, funny!
Though its not exactly a huge summer movie, The Fairly Oddparents Movie was worth watching. The only thing that got on my nerves was the singing routine at the beginning. The rest of the movie had a strong plot and loads of witty jokes.
Finding Nemo (2003)
Finding Nemo is an amazing film.
Finding Nemo is a very well done movie. The graphics are incredible, the characters are funny, and its a great story. Although it may leave some children under 4 traumatized,(between the angry sharks, exploding mines, and the barracuda attack)it is a great movie for all ages except toddlers.
Futurama (1999)
Futurama is misunderstood!
Futurama is a witty and funny show that should have been given more credit. You see, Futurama has stopped creating new episodes because of something said by Phillip J. Fry himself. In the episode titled "When Aliens Attack," Fry and the others act out an episode of a show called "Single Female Lawyer." Leela, playing the single female lawyer, says that she is marrying the judge. Fry stops her and she asks why. "It's smart and unexpected." she says. Then Fry reveals exactly why Futurama went down the tubes. "Smart thing make people feel dumb," he says, "and unexpected things make people feel scared." And there it is. People hate Futurama because it's smart, which makes them feel inferior. Now, I can ignore that and just laugh at it. But many people can't. The animation of the show is great, the jokes are very funny, and the concept is excellent. Yet, some people still don't like it. So I suggest you take one half hour of your life and look closer at Futurama. I say it's very good.
