Mass Effect 3 (2012)
Best Game.
I'm quite the fan of Mass Effect, after beating ME 1 and 2 Mass Effect 3 is just as good and better then its predecessors. It's everything the last games were and improved. I highly suggest this game to anyone, it is the definition of epic. So amazing and serious, yet humorous and sad. It's a terrific game, and the new features such as being able to dodge and sprint for long distances really improves game play in comparison to the previous games. 1000/10 Fantastic. I've only been playing Mass Effect 3 for roughly 3 hours and already i can say it is one of the best games i have ever played. The Story is so unforgettable. Bioware has once again pulled out an amazing gem! Anyone who is new to the series can probably pick this game up and play it. There are some key aspects you might not get immediately but after awhile all questions are answered. I am in love with this game, and cant wait to see what will happen!
Zookeeper (2011)
A movie that has literally lowered the bar.
Watching this monstrosity of a movie i actually felt dumber. I had seen the trailers prior to watching the film, and i admit i went in with low expectations. But I left extremely disappointed. The story line seemed to have died about 5 minutes into the film, From what i assume this movie is intended for and age group of 3-6 years of age. The unfortunate thing is that even for someone of that age there is literally no humor in the entire film. It's like if you made a movie all about fart jokes, and keep it going for and hour and thirty minutes. Why was this movie necessary, The characters are forgettable, the storyline is flat, all aspects considered the movie is plain god awful.
Transformers: Dark of the Moon (2011)
I actually enjoyed it!
This movie (Compared to the other Transformers films) Is quite enjoyable. The story line is a lot more interesting and fun to watch, the acting is quite fair, yet to be honest, they really should have this rated a little higher then PG-13. This movie takes a large turn from a movie that kids can enjoy and a movie that Adults can enjoy as well, sense this change is so evident, the acting is quite a lot better from the previous films. And if you wonder what i mean by the movies "Adult Turn" For instance, the amount of times people say "Shit" in this movie is quite high, honestly i could care less on what they say but still. There is also a scene where John Malkovich blatantly says "Fucking Awesome" I know these moments sometimes add a sense of humor to a dull moment but still, you have anywhere for 6-13 year old's in the audience. As for my review. Animation, 8/10, it was quite well done, some scenes look kinda odd but i can easily look around that when robots start ripping each others heads out. For Acting, 8/10, the acting from shia is still pretty good, and in this movie he's a little more free to actually act unlike in the other films, overall the acting of this movie was good. For Story line, 9/10, When you have Giant robots beating the hell out of each other and blowing stuff up, you don't really need a story line, it just has to be entertaining, yet Transformers Dark of the Moon manages to be entertaining in fights scenes while still holding a solid story line. My over all review of the movie is a 8/10, while it is entertaining, there are times where i find a scene dragging on a bit long, besides that this film is Highly watchable and i WILL be watching it again soon.
Red Riding Hood (2011)
Not a big fan...
The way i see this movie is an untalented Director doing this movie the same way she did Twilight. I have to give the movie credit for making the Werewolf actually kill people, instead of just running around taking his shirt off. For animation, 7/10, the animation at the least held my attention and look alright. For Characters, 5/10, The acting in this movie was nowhere near breath taking, yet what can i expect from a movie such as this one, I give it 5 on account that Gary oldman delivered a pretty decent roll so props for that. For Storyline 3/10, the storyline is basically a retelling of New Moon in medieval age's Although there are no Vampires, and the werewolf is actually a threat, the movie still holds no great amount of entertainment, and leaves me just how i was after New Moon... bored to tears!
On a side note *here's the big spoiler*
I think it was kind of interesting how they made her father the werewolf... however, it was quite poorly executed.
The Box (2009)
"The Box" where do i begin?
So the movie starts out somewhere in the 1980s why you may ask? So people feel intrigued to watch,Back to the supposed "Story" So a package ends up on the doorstep of the main characters home where the two main characters of the story pick the box up only to be incounterd by a creepy old guy with a deformed face,He tells them to press the button and someone they don't know will die but they will get 1 million dollars,Sounds cool right hehe WRONG the storyline takes a stupid turn when it turns out that the old creepy guy is a freaking ALIEN really? an alien how undeniably stupid,So how do i sum this film up? It has about as much in-depth intelligent content as a cucumber
