Casey Anthony: Where the Truth Lies (2022)
Sad story, told by the villain backed up by people who got a paid to be villains
This is plain gross. I waited for the interviewer to ask her... the suspect... hard questions. Never happened. She asked Casey at the beginning why she would agree to to this, while not having creative freedom. But then made the movie (not a true documentary) as if she had all creative freedoms.
The mention the possibility of "an accident," without any evidence other than dreams, and then act like the the "accident" is a forgone conclusion and pose all these questions as if the alleged accident is is fact, and why did all these possibilities not get looked into, when they never proved or even provided an plausible explanation for. It's clear Casey went on a deep a dive on survivors of abuse. It's obvious, she refers what they experience without ever delving into hers. Lastly, her team referred to "her truth" not the truth numerous times.
Defense attorney's and defense teams discuss everything with their clients, go through the whole story, every detail, and reassure their confidentiality. Casey didn't not discussing the day her child was last seen with the defense investigator/defense team... is either a flat out lie, or her team asked and she either provided an implausible explanation or refused to cooperate with her own team.
Sad, Casey got away with murder, and her team are disgusting human beings.
I Feel Pretty (2018)
Why does Amy Schumer continue to get work?
I'll keep it short and sweet. Just not funny, so much so it's cringeworthy. Other reviews claimed it wasn't like Shallow Hall. I agree it's not. Shallow Hall was funny and had talented actors. Any talent in this movie is overshadowed by Schumer's lack of talent. Other than that, it does copy a few premise points from shallow, from an opposite perspective. It's just not believable though, Schumer, who I find unattractive, isn't fat, like she always claims to be. Because of that most of her humor surrounding falls flat on its face. Just not funny. So I will say again, Why does Amy Schumer continue to get work?
Gutsy (2022)
"Ignore negative reviews!!!" Hah, hard to do when that's all there is!
This is painful to watch. Hillary creates a show called Gutsy, about "gutsy" woman dancing, and then orchestrates herself being interviewed about being "gutsy," by another "gutsy" woman... Wow. That's a lot of guts. I feel bad for Jane Goodall, she actually has guts, the rest claim it. This show is proof that good people don't go around claiming how good they are, they're just good, courageous people, don't claim courage, they just have it, generous people just give selflessly, and "gutsy" people people don't make shows called "Gutsy." And apparently the Clinton's don't make shows worth watching.
I Care a Lot (2020)
Glad she died
Best part of this horrible movie was when she died. Her dying was surprising because of all her tactical ninja skills she displayed throughout the whole movie despite no reference where said skills and ability come from. Can't say enough about this. Interesting premise, good actors but horribly done.
