Witness (2020)
Steeps in tension and unspoken knowledge
This short manages to be suspenseful and subtle at the same time. The directing is a huge part of that. The acting is also subtle yet effective.

Great coming of age story
Whether it's your hair or something else, conforming to someone else's ideal can be problematic, as we see in this story. Also the good camera work and acting made me want to stick around till the end.
Good Thanks, You? (2020)
A heavy topic that was handled well
Excellent acting provided subtle but deeply emotional performances.

Story pulls you right in and the characters don't let you go as the actors certainly delivered.
