Deca zla (2023– )

Read a book first and watch series second

Give yourself chance to be entertained by both medium, because each of them will give you unique perspective and feeling. Book "Deca zla" by Miodrag Majic is complex, multilayered and very fast read, which you will be enjoying it immensely. Also, this was one of the best book adaptation in Serbian cinematography. Perfect choice of actors, locations, tone of the action gave us harmonious story line. Time well spent in a written world as well as visual one. Book "Deca zla " and tv series deserve all accolades that you hear these days from people who were fortunate to read a book and watched tv series to regional tv stations. Delighted!

Hotel Belgrade (2020)

Strange mix of everything

Remember the movie The Grand Budapest Hotel? Maybe director was trying to replicate that? If original was strange, this copy was strange enough. Visually is done nicely, has a brief funny moments that only limited audience can understand and the rest is "running around the set" without a clear objective. Could have been done less chaotic....

Disappointment

Utterly boring! All could have been said and done in 2 hours length TV movie with better execution. As somebody already said it here, this was emotionally disengaging.

Sol (I) (2020)

Lovely little flick

This is a sweet French movie, unpretentious and entertaining. Funny and emotional at the same time, just like real life itself. It was scripted and acted nicely. Very likeable characters. Lovely theme song and music through out the movie. Scenes colour palette is matched with the mood of the film too. Give it a chance, you are not going to regret it.

The Witcher (2019– )

Entertaining, but....

....I really wanted to like this tv series and I did, but it's not amazing like some ratings and reviews saying so....It's has a good story, but everything felt rushed and undeveloped. I had the same problem like many mentioning here with a plot line, past and present just not distinguish properly. Using of modern language in many character's line didn't work for me either. Over all, entertaining enough Not be bored while watching it.

If Beale Street Could Talk (2018)

Oscar worthy material

It is a beautiful movie through and through! Amazing music scores, placed amazingly well for every scene and situation. Acting is gentle and natural, message is strong. It's a must watch.

South Wind (2018)

Good movie

Serbian cinema has improved significantly. This one has all elements of crime/ drama genre that you will enjoy immensely....Very good acting, good story line and good execution. Worth of 2+ hours of your time.

Ubice mog oca (2016– )

Very good tv series

I was pleasantly surprised with a quality of this tv show. Nicely developed story, solid acting, filming and music score. Finally something that doesn't look like copy cat of the worst and sleaziest north american tv series! Amazing job!
