Da grande (1987)
nice movie, it has some good laughs
2 October 2004
This movie inspired the writers of "Big" (with Tom Hanks). A kid goes to bed and wakes up an adult. Easy to watch and a good laugh. Renato Pozzetto way of looking ( or better glaring) at the camera, clumsy moves, and "faccione" (big face), create some good laughing moments. I saw this movie years ago, and i still remember laughing my head off in the cinema. Speaking Italian helps a lot when watching it. If you can find it (still) spend an hour, relaxing, but don't think about the big American production one (which came out a the following year).

An insight on a part of US society
9 April 2003
It does make you think. I knew quite a bit about the US gun culture, but I could not really imagine how silly some people can be. This movie raises a few questions which can only be answered by the US citizens themselves.

Lack of social investment, a consumer driven society, social segregation, and propaganda. These are the topics and cosequeces which this movie try to examine.

Please watch it with an open mind, remembering that not all US citizen are pro guns.

Food for thoughts.
