Messiah (2020)
Necessary show
Religion. Politics. The messiah. World peace. Inner peace. Faith. Guilt.
Do we need someone or something to believe in?
Although it's a slow pace TV show, it is so difficult to stop watching it.
But this is definitively a necessary show. This is the type of stories that we look for. Shows that invite to discuss and think, and also fun to watch.
Good acting. Very good casting. Great screenplay. Addictive script. I don't think I need more, the show has everything I am interested into.
Hope Netflix works on a second season. The plot has tons more to give and I'm sure there thousands of fans that need a good closure or some sort of closure.
I need some sort of a closure.
The OA (2016)
An enjoyable story.
The plot in first season is just too attractive. Fragility and strength getting together just create these great characters. Gentle rhythm. A spiritual fog embrace most of the story
Script comes with some ripples, but it's just a great story narrated and constructed in an intimate way.
Second season brings many twists and the edition leaves so many gaps. Some characters just don't make sense. I don't blame the script, I blame the edition.
Tell Me Your Secrets (2021)
I recommend it, just if you don't mind open ends... and lots of unanswered questions.
Good show. Addictive rhythm. Good screenplay.
Acting is outstanding with a few exceptions and a couple of very weak scenes.
Script is fine. But everything is so twisted that need to work back to back with good editing
Bad editing. Too many open issues. Not every single question must be answered but at least the final edition needs to provide some closure or light to some of them.

Come on! You can do better.
Sucker Punch (2011)
Crazy mix.
From a progressive point of view, interesting sequences, awesome photography, nice acting.
From a conservative, many empties in the script (assuming it was on purpose?) and many naive connections between images, sequences and music
Maybe too much, too ambitious from an artistic point of view.
Many many disturbing images. No need for so much skin. The history would be more powerful to tell using different and no so obvious tools.
Unthinkable (2010)
Watch it.
Watched the movie with 3 mores guys. Nobody agreed about the score. Nobody agreed about the main roles background and postures. No technical discussions about cinematography, music, lights, acting. We agreed about this as a heavy film. Difficult to digest.
I'd like to see more about the main characters background and motives. But that is clearly not the purpose of the movie.
