For me, This movie is Unity !!!

Sheer brilliance ... Art !!!

Maybe because i love science fiction or that its easy for me to imagine the possibility...

I just got the movie and hadn't seen any trailer nor read much about the film except maybe a few lines here on IMDb.

Starts off just like any other movie ... but then ... its really very difficult to fathom my experience into words !! It goes beyond ...and then starts expanding exponentially as far as the theory goes.

I just finished watching it and i feel infinitely intelligent and still reeling back from the experience !!! Truly a spectacular movie and experience...

All you have to do is suspend your disbelief and just find that maybe .... its possible :)

P.S - The END is just "mind blowing"!!!

No, i have not read the book and didn't know much about the plot before watching the movie.. But i can understand the negative views of people who did read the book and expected more from the movie ... as we all do with stories we read.

But .. for me Andrew Niccol just made a refreshing and unique story that made me think about it .. I feel disappointed after reading many negative reviews here, and only reason being that they could not enjoy it as well as me.

The movie starts with a great narrative and gets to its main story right away. The movie never pretends to be action packed. It has a great pace and a good blend of drama/romance with action (in my opinion). The Idea behind the plot i.e the science fiction part of the movie ( also applies to anything that Andrew Niccol works on ... example- Gattaca , In Time Etc) is marvelous..

Saoirse Ronan surprises me every time with her acting and as the movie goes, I cannot understand the references to hunger games or Twilight ... Its just stupid ..Nothing reminded me much of Hunger Games....there was NO love triangle Either ... there were two people (souls/minds) in a single body.

In the end .. I wanna share that I really liked the movie and the romance, Sci-Fi and action were in a great blend for me. If you want to watch extremely fast paced,Sci-Fi action ... this is not for you (maybe at this particular time).. Any science fiction fan (anyone really) who doesn't mind the romance in their story and enjoys a decently paced, story and plot driven movie should thoroughly enjoy this as i have.

A "definitely WATCH" from me ...

P.S- I do Believe the movie could have done without the extremely last scene that comes after the movie has basically ended.

Flypaper (2011)

Bright,Light & Funny ... This movie was a balanced Mix & a lot of Fun

This is a crime comedy which really delivers the comedy.Small scenes acted out perfectly and the movie had a bright feel to it which made it more interesting to watch.

Casting was nice.The actors really fit to the roles they were given and the mystery remains a mystery till the very end.Again, the humor in this movie was really good.There was all kinds of comedy based on situations that fit the style perfectly.

Very often you see a movie with such good understanding of the Characters. The plot is very simple and movie seems a bit predictable in the beginning BUT of-course its not.The story is very original and Patrick Dempsey's character "Tripp Kennedy" is which i liked the most.He's interesting,really.

So, its a bank robbery with two robbery-teams that plan to rob the same bank at the same time (this is funny already).There's a little feel of black comedy and also a bit of "Stupid-eh-ism" which really is fun.

Its a movie you can just watch (with the more the merrier) for a lot of laughs and a few great laughs and have a great time and also relax all in all.

I rate it 7.7/10

13 Assassins (2010)

13 Assassins - Outstanding (Performance, Direction & Originality)

There is not enough words to explain the Execution of this feature film.Miike Takashi did a fantastic job proving his potential again.

The first few minutes pulls you into the whole plot involved.Evil Lord(Naritsugu) is on his last step to become the senior adviser of Shogun(council) which is 2nd most powerful post in the country. Sir Doi as council elder cannot do anything politically as the council appointed lord Naritsugu to be the senior adviser effective on his next visit to EDO.

So he appoints Shinzaemon Shimada to stop Naritsugu before he reaches to Edo.And he then forms the team that head out to do so.

The battles were executed with great perfection and were very realistic.I say realistic because there were no "oh! we gotta slow down the swing of the sword or someone might get hurt" moments.

There were some Strong Violence (maybe a little more than some).But the good thing about is the movie is not 2 hours of violence.It has breaks, to get you back to the seat in theater, then pull you back in when it needs to.

With Realistic characters, story and Violence, It definitely is one of the best samurai movies lately.

I rate it 9.6/10...

Triangle (2009)

Play with it and it WILL play with your mind

This is not a horror movie and Doesn't try to be the movie with scary "build ups" with no output just to make you jump.

Now, This was A great Movie.A suspense Thriller that Gives you what It should have.I have come across many movies with similar plots... and left disappointed with a weak explanation of the order and reason of movements in the plot.

The direction is strong and acting as good too.It starts and engages you in the story pretty quick and plays with your mind.But, of course You have to play along and be a little concentrated which i didn't even realize i had to because the movie glued me to "what happens next" and that i feel should always be in mind whilst watching a suspense Thriller.

Melissa George did a fantastic job and was the most seen character in the whole movie (literally) - You will get this after you watch the movie.

A tip: Please don't read anymore or watch any trailers for best results. You go all in with no expectations, It will leave you out with a lot to think about. I watched this with a couple of my friends and to be honest all what we talked about while coming back was related to TRIANGLE and the concept on which it stands.

Rating: 8.5/10

Thorne: Sleepyhead (2010)

Night Night Sleepyhead !!!

Way More than an average Thriller, missed by decimals of being a great one. DEFINITE Watch for Thriller Lovers. Others - You won't be disappointed.

Story - Thorne is "the" Detective with "a" Past who while investigating a case of serial killing, struggles to keep from a case in his past . 3 girls have been found dead when the fourth victim Allison Willetts survives a stroke (artificially manipulated through pressure points on head and neck as in the dead victims) and is unlucky to be alive.She is completely paralyzed but can hear, feel and understand whatever goes around her. The police believes that the Killer has made his First mistake by leaving her alive. The Mystery unfolds with time of who this serial killer might be and what happened in Thorne's Past homicidal case.

I didn't really have a very positive feel when i decided to watch it(had not heard much about it) but it turned out to be one of the Good ones. I loved the Depiction of Allison Willetts, who has been paralyzed due to the attack. Thorne was a very convincing character and so were the others. All in all Great Acting with a Nice Cast.

Highly recommended if you are looking for a thriller !!! Just Watch IT.
