Binge worthy!
12 February 2024
Didn't expect to go to bed at 4 am but it is what happened. I couldn't let it go and I NEVER binge usually. I was: ok, just one more... one more... one more... Couldn't let it go.

The character are engaging, the story captivating, the acting sublime and the music brought me back to those years. Might be that I was about the same age on the same timeline.

Impressive all over. Leo Woodhall prestation is incredible. Those 2 are amazing actors, not a doubt. So intense and light at the same time, Writing was on point while visually pleasing. All over a perfect dosage of what we rarely find in cinema nowadays: difficult topics, events and feelings addressed with elegance and grace.

Nice surprise.

Warning: Spoilers
Didn't expect much. In fact, I didn't even know who was Duff when I picked the title on Netflix. Was just looking for documentary, musical or something to go through the night. OK, I knew Guns'n'Roses, of course but beside Axl and Slash, wasn't paying much attention to the band members - sue me.

I found that documentary poetic, inspiring and not sure why but reminded me of David Bowie on some part. Of course I saw pictures of Duff over years and always found him the cutest one in the band without knowing his name though. Didn't know much about him and now that I know and saw... Respect.

Maybe it's not as trashy as some would have love to when it comes to rock star lifestyle. It's more human, hit closer and give a taste of reality instead of the well known crap we are fed about rock star all the time. It did the job to me. Entertaining, beautifully presented in a nice artistic way. Almost the end of the movie Rock Star with Mark Whalberg but in a real context.

Did like it a lot. Hope the rating will go higher on that title. They did a good job bringing us in the intimacy of Duff with the music, the pictures, the voice, the songs. Again, i found it poetic and beautiful.

Look like a movie made by student :(

Warning: Spoilers
Bad actors, terrible dialogue but got me some good laugh as it was so lame that I had no choice to laugh. Look like they put an add in the newspaper for get the actors (?) working on that film or it was schoolmates trying to make a movie together. Softly porn, most disgusting scene ever was when the girl lick the cropped leg of her partner but at least, most of the boobs were real LOL. Soundtrack? Garbage! Sooooo bad... I finally felt asleep on that movie...

I like slasher, gore and horror but that movie was not even entertaining enough for keep me laughing. Seriously, even a low budget movie can do a good job and win some good point. I try hard to find something to say for redeem at least one thing for that movie and I can't think about nothing beside that the demon guy was kind of cute with his sharp eye and long hair; sad that he was not able to play for the sake of his own life.

I gave 1 since we can't give 0.
