The Age of Adaline (2015)
Boring mystery
I watched this during Quarantine and why did the intro take half the movie? As a film viewer I would have liked to solve the mystery of Adaline myself. and the chemistry between the couple is only so so.
Toy Story 4 (2019)
Better than Toy Story 3?
I actually thought this was the better ending! I love what they did with Boo peeps character instead of being a damsel in destress she was a strong independent woman! The only qualm I would have is she was kind of a knock off on Elsa in fact the reason why I came on here was to see if Indie did her voice? I always thought in Toy Story 3 Woody was doing the thing. In life friends move a part and kids move out it's natural. Going to college with Andy would be a mistake. I actually thought he would leave in the 3rd movie. And I found it very moving and more realistic that he faced his biggest fear and moved on we should all be so lucky! I will agree breaking up the best bromance ever was a mistake but the franchise is over now so it doesn't really matter. I have to wonder if the people hatting on this movie are a bunch of grumpy old men!
Hello, Dolly! (1969)
A musical I could live without
The production is incredible and so are the dance numbers but nothing happens in this musical! And it has not aged well the musical numbers are so sexist. Not plot whatsoever!
Judy (2019)
It's a hard film to watch but an Important film to watch
This movie changed my opinion on mental health. As much as I loved the Wizard of Oz growing up. The way she was treated by everyone in film Was my light bulb moment. It was disgusting to watch in some points but this is what it's all about. Treating people better. We all need to step up and treat each other better.
Thumbelina (1994)
Better than Disney
It took An actual frost for Disney to this good and and deep with kids Everyone Thumbelina meets tries to take advantage of her in some way Wanting money or even her And can we appreciate that all of the older women in this movie tell her that marrying a prince is silly What Disney movie said that I loved this movie as a child and I clicked on it as soon as it ended up on Disney plus Also Corneiless is dreamy
A Troll in Central Park (1994)
Upsetting? 😕
I cannot remember anything about this movie except we got it as a gift. My brother and I were very upset for whatever reason? After watching it. And it was later banned from our house.
Ocean's Eight (2018)
Not Ghostbusters
I think people are so quick to write off this movie because the female Ghostbusters was so terribly bad. This is a fun romp! Do the women have a little less chemistry and comedy than the men? Yes. However it's still a strong contender in the franchise
Hudson & Rex (2019)
Please develop Charlie
Charlie is gorgeous it's just all he does is say the right things he's too perfect you have to give him something else to do. The other characters are better.
Who's the Boss? (1984)
A show ahead of its time
A working Mum? With the man staying home with the kids in the 80's!? Brilliant! I loved it! It's been a favourite for years and should be on repeats now in 2019!
Mom (2013)
Underrated!!!
I love this show!!! I can't understand why more people aren't talking about this show! With the worst crisis going on in North America it should be as popular as This Is US!!! And it's funny!
Ghostbusters (2016)
Why?
This is the worst movie I have ever seen! Why it was made I don't understand? If I wasn't with friends I would have walked out! The first two were perfect treasures! 💛 Clearly whom ever made this movie never saw the first two. Chris in my mind should have sued for the way he was treated! I get that that's the point but it could have been done better and more subtle.
The Proposal (2009)
Didn't get it?
I didn't like this movie as far as I'm concerned I didn't see any real acting in the movie. They were all playing characters of themselves. And it wasn't funny. I don't understand how seems to be everyone' Favourite movie!
A Little Princess (1995)
Not my Little Princess
This movie is terrible. They should have called it something else! The BBC version made in the 80's is much better. And truer to the book.
Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life (2016)
Goodbye Rory 😟
Lowest rating I've ever given. Before the revival came out my friend and I had Rory being the first Female President. We were so disappointed how Rory turned out. I understand that people's lives don't always turned out the way they want. Believe me. I'm a 30 year old barista. But Rory is suppose to be hope for all of her viewers.
Gold Diggers: The Secret of Bear Mountain (1995)
Good times!
I've remembered this movie with such fondness for years! I saw it with my best friends but could never remember the name. It goes with Now and Then and I love, love Christina!
Elementary (2012)
Feminists?
I don't personally blame Benedict himself but I think there are his little army of fan girls who claim to be feminists and yet trash Lucy for not being "johnlock". And then there are just misogynistic men in general who feel threatened. I actually enjoy this better than BBC version I got Netflix specifically for Sherlock and was disappointed. It was too pretty. I didn't like the story. Elementary is the better of the two. Perhaps some of the plots are a tad convoluted but the story is better. And I love how they don't define there relationship it's 2019!
