Looking for Alaska (2019)

A brilliant study in how to make a grown man cry.

Started this series with no expectations, had never heard of the books or series, but I thought it sounded interesting. Man was I blown away. The first few episodes are at but slow, but then it gets you hooked, and in the end I sat in my couch with tears rolling down my face.

The actors fits their roles well, and the acting is top notch. The character development is great and not too forced. The cinematography and musical score fits well.

Waste of time

This movie is a waste of time to watch if you ask me. The acting is awful and the plot is thinner than water.

Before watching it i was told it was a scary movie with a lot of gore and killing as you would expect from horror movie about some soldiers going into a saving mission 900m under the earths surface. The director is given a plot a lot like resident evil, but he throws it away like a pitcher with a baseball. He tries to make it scary by putting in some little girls Japanese style but it just doesn't work.

There's a serious lack of gore in this movie and the only semi-good acting is provided by Cuba Gooding. If anyone disagrees you are welcome to comment on this..
