Severance: The We We Are (2022)
Season 1, Episode 9
10/10
Are you kidding?!

How can we wait a year after such an episode??

I could barely wait a week for this one.

Kept me on the edge of my seat the entire ride. Such a thrill. I need more.

Mindblowing.

Everything was there but.. lacking.
25 December 2021
Neo & Trinity's acting felt kind of too simple.. too slow. They felt tired. Almost like they didn't really want to do it..

A couple of characters had something to do, but a whole bunch of others felt like they were just there for the sake of being there.

There are several plot holes. A couple new things were introduced that were.. okay, cool.

Mostly, though, we see a lot of the same kind of things we did in the original trilogy, but it feels lacking in quality.

A few 'messages' were put into the film, that felt too forced, and too strong.

+ Matrix is not really the same without the *REAL* Morpheus.

The Wheel of Time (2021– )

One of the best fantasy shows I've seen. Cannot wait for the next episode.
13 December 2021
An adventure-style story line, in a well thought-through world, with impressive visuals, scenery and great acting.

Every episode feels deep and satisfying. You can relate to the characters and their experience.

Reminds me of The Fellowship of the Ring and The Witcher.

The only down side - only 8 episodes. If they'd made it 10, it would have been highly appreciated.

To the negative reviewers - are we watching the same show?

Bad acting? I'm downright impressed by Rosamund Pyke's character and her warder. All of them, really (maybe not so much the kids). The plot takes us on an adventure where we don't know what we'll find next. We get lost in this strange new world, with mythic creatures and the prophecy of the dragon....

This show may not be perfect, but it's definitely in top 3 fantasy shows I've ever seen (and having watched over 200 shows, I know).

I don't understand how a show like Hawkeye gets considerably higher rankings - despite acting there being much worse, the characters completely unrelatable, and the plot as predictable as it gets.

First show in a while, that I can't wait for the next episode
30 October 2021
I haven't read the books, and am watching this as its own thing.

Yes, it has dumb moments.

If you really analyze everything, it's not very realistic, and some decisions could have turned this thing around..

But..

The visuals are fantastic. Acting is great. The plot holds me on my toes. Every episode is filled with story, twists, and action.

There are not many good Sci-Fi shows out there, but this one certainly is one of the best.

Looking forward to the next episode.

Where is the plot?
5 December 2019
Warning: Spoilers
You need a plot for a movie.

The style and everything is great. Excellent acting. About nothing.

The scene at the end was memorable, but the other 2 hours and a half were just.. boring.

You can have the best actors doing their best work, with a great style, but if there's no plot, nothing leading to anything, done in the slowest way possible, what am I watching? And why?

I don't get the other reviews. There was no humor. No curiosity. There was no character development, you couldn't really care for any of the characters. There were no problems, no danger, nothing exciting happening. It's like the movie was playing.. but also kinda stuck in one place.

From the whole movie, I only liked about 3 minutes at the end. I don't really get the positive reviews on this...

Being Human (2011–2014)
8/10
American version > British
1 February 2011
Well i just found out about this series and despite i actually hate remakes i decided i'll watch both versions. However, i started with the US one. The first episode got me really interested, i'm pretty sure i'll buy the whole season.. Then i decided to watch the British version.. To be honest i never finished watching it.. turned off the TV after around 15-20 minutes.. The actors seemed like they don't care for this TV show and their "acting" made it look like a theatre stage.. I've already seen Sam Witwer (US version) acting a similar role in Smallville, and it actually suits him - he can cry when he has to. What is the most important is that the US version convinced me that this is real more than the British one, and that's what makes a TV show be a good TV show - if you don't believe in it, you'll never love it. I like the main idea.. i'm a big TV-shows watcher and this one promises to be good. Well, i might even change my opinion about remakes.. some are really better.. If you never watched the British version and aren't in love with it, i recommend this one better. Fans of the British version, i truly doubt you'll like this one more since it's like the same movie but with some improvements.. after watching 3 seasons of it you'd rather say it's worse than admitting you've it is actually better.

P.S. 8 out of 10 at this moment, might change while i watch it :)

Fringe (2008–2013)

A cool sci-fi show
6 May 2009
Similar to x-files and millennium , this show has got me into it. The actors are pretty bad playing but the story is still interesting. I would like to watch fringe more than the x-files because they're old. It's a sci-fi and all the phenomena are explained. An FBI agent , a mad scientist and his son make a team do discover the last events . It all starts with a plane crash. In a short time the agents get into it and discover the people skin has melt, all the passengers are dead . When searching the responsible for this , an FBI agent is deadly wounded and has a short time to live. Olivia Dunham , his girlfriend and partner tries to find a solution by getting Walter Bishop out of a psycho clinic. He claims he won't work without his son near him , so the fantastic 3 starts.
