Donnie Darko (2001)
Mad World (possible spooiler, i don't know)
It's David Lynch in the 80's. This movie is very similar to Mullholland Drive, there is no straight line.
There are two diffrent time lines.
Donnie survives "The accident" and has a month to live his life in a diffrent way, because Donnie is going to die. Time is always coming back to point one. And a month later, when the "The accident" accurs again, time takes it course...
I _STRONGLY_ recommend this movie, the soundtrack to this movie is also excellent. Gary Jules version of "Mad World" in the end is such a great finish of the movie.
If you diden't enjoy the movie, watch it again. And again. Trust me. You will love it.
Office Space (1999)
What would you do if you had a million dollar ?
Two chicks at the same time....
I have seen Office Space many times, and it's still as fun as it was the first time. This is comedy at it's peak.. well, not counting Seinfeld. Anyhow, this movie is great, and i strongly recommend everyone in need for a good and smart comedy to rent this one. I am sure you will love it. I did.
T2 3-D: Battle Across Time (1996)
If you have the chance - then go !
I saw this "movie" at Universal Studios in Los Angeles and it was great. It is a mix between theater and cinema, double crossing with 3d effects, and the result was great.
If was worth watching, only downside is that the audience get really wet at the end of the show. Why iam not going to tell you, you need to find out for yourself :-)
Seinfeld (1989)
No review needed.
1. Go to your local store where they sell news papers. Buy a magazine or a news paper that contains a list of the tv channels you own.
2. Look up Seinfeld and circle when it's on.
3. Watch Seinfeld and laugh until you die.
Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991)
Best Action Movie ?
In my mind, this movie is probably the best action movie that has ever been made. It is one of the few action movies that contains a plot that works, and works perfect through out the entire movie.
This is one of those rare movies that you can watch several times, and never get bored. And is better then the previous movie. I think this is Arnold's best preformence, the Austrian oak is perfect as the Terminator ;-). Also Linda Hamilton and Edward Furlong is great in this movie.
But the true master of this movie is the director - James Cameron. If weren't for him, i don't think this movie would have ever been so good as it did. I saw "Behind the Scenes - Terminator 2", on the DVD box that came out a while ago.
I must say i have never seen such a dedicated director. And through that dedication for this movie, i believe he created a masterpiece in the genre of Action.
CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (2000)
Best Show Today ?
C.S.I or Crime Scene Investigation is probably the best show on air at this time. William L. Petersen is great as Gil Grissom, he is truly a wonderful actor. There has been enough "cop series" for the moment, it's time to focus on the people who does the work "behind the scenes". And according to my mind, does it great. Hopefully CBS keep running C.S.I for as long as possible.
I would also like to recommend the movie Manhunter and To Live And Die In L.A, both starring William L. Petersen.
