Great show, sad music choises
23 March 2016
I heard nothing but good about this series and I was like great show when I got to see this! I'd like to watch a series like this! History and all all of that... The first episode, well that was great! Like very great. Perfect for those who like a good action series! Then what happened? In the end of the first episode the music was like wtf? New to this show but if the music is as bad as it was I'm out. Is it too much to ask for some music you know, like old music from 40's that would be like the music that happened when this series was supposed to happen? Don't know if this is the worst show ever or better than that happened to me. We will see...

I used to hate musicals
25 July 2015
At first, I thought, well a comedy and a musical? No way I would like this, musicals are like dusty and boring things that people went to see in theaters sometimes when there was no television. OK. I admit most of the musicals are, well bit boring. Mostly boring. When watching this show from the episode one, I was like: "What?" This was funny, and as the first time I hoped the songs would have been bit longer! Strange, I hate musicals. This show is, well how do you recommend a musical show to you friends... I'd say that this is one of the most funniest show that brings nothing but pure joy to those who happen to see Galavant! Timothy Omundson is hilarious as a king, makes me want to be a king!

Derek (2012–2014)

Perhaps the most caring and funny series ever...
5 April 2015
How much serious a comedy series have to be to make you laugh? Does it take you to laugh about something that is not so funny after all in a real world? I just watched the opening episode of 3. season of Derek. Jokes are sometimes something that you go sometimes back to understand at, if those were even jokes. Every line is, well you'll be disturbed about if there was a joke or not, anyway you'll laugh all the time. When most of us are getting older, it would be someone like Derek to take care of us, well, not to actually nurse, but to make us happy and comfortable when we are vegetables. This series is brilliant and touching and funny as hell, and I'll be waiting for the next episodes.

Hellfjord (2012)

Not for the simple minded...
15 February 2014
First when I started to watch this TV series, it was bit slow and well... I didn't know what I was watching, bit like what? Is this supposed to be funny? I'm from Finland, so I have seen many Nordic TV series where people just stare each others for about minutes and then say something lame. After watching the 3 first episodes I was still confused. Should this be funny or boring? Then I slowly got it. The show is the most funny black comedy that makes you think all of the time "Is this funny?" , "Should I laugh here?". When I got my Heureka! moment, I have been laughing my guts out! Almost every scene is an a sketch, sometimes you have to rewind to see what the hell just happened, and that sucks on Netflix, but that what life is in Hellfjord! Well... Pihla Viitala as "Riina" is so good, being a Finn. I think most of the viewers did not understand what Riina said to Kobba when he thought Riina had put an spell on him on the 4th episode, but even I had to rewind that scene to get it. Well, this is one of the most hilarious TV series that I have seen in a while. It is a comedy, but the humor is so dark, that you're really not sure, if you should laugh or yawn ones head off or just die laughing, watching this show. The humor is not-so-American and obvious, more like from silent movies, like Chaplin and Tati. Most hilarious and intelligent dark comedy I have seen in a while!

Hit and Run (I) (2012)
5/10
Pretty great comedy, but ending is boring
8 September 2013
Well, at starters I'd give 10/10 to Kristen Bell and other 10/10 for the Lincoln Continental that sadly disappeared too soon from the plot. The movie is fun to watch, full of turns and Kristen Bell just shines. She is not so much of a "serious actor" (because she is so cute, I guess), but does one of the most enjoyable acts in movies here. I wish the new project of the new Veronica Mars movie comes true... I did contribute a little. Sadly the end of the movie is like from 80's stupid comedies. Suddenly the movie turns into a some sentimental drama, like as the director didn't know how to end a comedy. Anyways: this is a pretty good movie in the beginning, but somehow it just doesn't get to the end. I recommend this movie as a great comedy for all of us who heart Kristen Bell, but when you take Kristen Bell and the Car out of this, it is not so much of anything after all.

Pitch Perfect (2012)

Great and funny
27 July 2013
Well I saw this movie today, and I'll say that Anna Kendeick has still the most beautiful smile that has seen in the movies after Ingrid Bergman. Just the smile... Well, the movie is so predictable all the way, so I think this is not a spoiler. Bit boring occasionally, but I think this is the first movie in a long time where there was no kissing! Kissing makes the movie slow and stupid-musicated, Musicish? Anyway, this is the most enjoyable movie, if you don*t seek any "artsy" stuff. This is just an entertaining comedy with a flow. Story is predictable, but it is well done. 2 stars gor the smile of Anna Kendrick, one star for the music. 5 stars go to the director for making this movie bit interesting and funny that it is.

Skyfall (2012)

Boring
8 March 2013
Well, Skyfall starts as any Bond movie, following with one of the top 5 songs ever been as Bond song, so I was thrilled. What a waste of time. The story and the plot is great, but what does the director do? I hate when in lack of the abilities all the action is shot in darkness. Note to the director: It is more difficult to shoot action in daylight. Just so boring piece of an Bond movie. Seen better. I think this is the second worse ever made. That's why the two stars. Don't know, seen all the Bond movies and this just makes me vomit? Daniel Craig is as awesome as always, but the film sucks. Sad day to the story of 007. I miss my youth.

The River (2012)

So fail
17 March 2012
How can I review The River for minimum 10 lines. Should I say it is one of the worst TV series that I've seen in so many years in a ten lines? Bad, Bad, Bad. Worse than bad. Someone has been watching cheap horror movies or that lousy horror movie that I'm not going to mention here... This stupid don't know what, living camera, blurred shots, all so stupid rapid zooming back and worth here and there, boring and disturbing camera movements... not good. Acting is just like everybody is ashamed to act like a stupid. I miss those movies and series that had loooong and slow camera work. The River is just something between "I know what you did.." thing movie and that other annoying horror movie that was a hit some years ago with that stupid "live camera" bullshit, can't remember the name, but The River is both and much worse. I feel sorry for those who does this series. *palmface* Maybe one of the worst series that I have seen... well, 3 episodes was enough for me. People are stupid, so this will go for 4 seasons or so?

Most enjoyable and funny
20 April 2011
Been a fan of Burn Notice from the beginning I thought this movie was just an other ripoff of my favorite show. Never been so wrong. This movie is so hilarious and exciting from the first seconds right to the last frame. It's been so long that I have laughed so much watching the whole thing through. Now I know what lies behind Sam Axe, and as someone pointed, it would be nice to see the beginning of Michael Westen's story (he made a cameo role here) as well. I think this is one the the best movies I've seen in years. Nothing deep and meaningful, just pure fun without the serious over exaggerated exploding action. Comedy? Yes! Entertaining? Absolutely! Full of action? Rright on! Compared to any other action/comedy movie: A Winner! I think The Fall Of Sam Axe is one of the most recommendable movie for anyone who likes a good old-school action comedy.
