Can you just let people talk in their languages? Why dub over with English? Extremely unnecessary and irritating. Why can't you give people an option to hear the people's real voice?

This movie depicts the torture of the dysfunctional bureaucracy of India towards its poor people. The acting, story, music, cinematography are all outstanding. Can't recommend it highly enough.

The White Tiger (2021)

Amazingly realistic depiction of the Indian society

Very impressed with the story and acting that depict the problems in the society. Adarsh Gourav has done an amazing job. Highly recommend it to anyone interested in the real India outside of Bollywood masala depictions.

This collection of 4 short films has 3 stories that are of very good quality. The one directed by Vignesh Shivan on the other hand is a stench rotten apple. Simply avoid that one and it's a fabulous collection of works.

KD (A) Karuppudurai (2019)

A must watch in a long time

I watched this movie based on the imdb ratings and I was absolutely amazed. This movie is a must watch in a long time and that includes Indian cinemas and Hollywood alike. The performance of the leading two roles is so natural and real. The story is very interesting too. I also have to condemn the practice of Thalaikoothal. This is one of the most despicable things I have ever heard and I couldn't believe this is happening in modern India. What a monster would kill their parents? Disgusting.

Unbroken (2019 TV Movie)

Every human being in the world should watch this documentary and learn forgiveness. This film is a wonderful masterpiece that left me overwhelmed by the beyond-imagination forgiveness the three main characters have shown. I know the world would be a better place when more people have watched this documentary.

The 100 (2014–2020)

Season 3 is a disaster

When I started watching the series it was getting better and better and the second season was superb. Then came the much anticipated season 3 and it unfortunately is a disappointing flop. There's no more reasonable plots going on. It's just full of cruel and stupid people in every camp of the story. Lots of stupid people now only keep setting up, killing, misleading, hating and hurting each other. And some of the very few adorable character such as Lincoln and Lexa were just wasted for no any meaningful reason. I can't even bear or have the patience to watch this crap any more. It's simply disastrous. I'm feeling very disappointed that such a used-to-be-good series spirals down so badly.

7aum Arivu (2011)

One of the worst movies I've ever seen

I used to think I like all the Tamil movies until I saw this one. What a waste of Surya and Shruti's talents!

The Mandarin and English spoken in the movie were simply ridiculously idiotic, and so were the special effects of the flying cars, the whole screenplay, the music as well as the performances of that Vietnamese guy, he'd better keep his profession as a stuntman than acting!

The idea of portraying China as a stupid evil country against India is also unbelievably stupid. Come on. Wake up! It's the 21st century already. Stop thinking like the cold war is still going on.

There's almost nothing good about this movie. I must say it's totally a huge disappointment.

Alphas (2011–2012)

Seriously, only watch it when you want to fall asleep right away.

This show used to be somewhat interesting at the first few episodes, but lately it has become so unbearably boring. I can't even finish watching an episode.

The characters are like robots, especially that Gary. He acts exactly like what he's supposed to be, an idiot. No, not just Gary. All of the characters act like they have no brain!

There's nothing fun, or at least interesting, in the story, either. These alphas just keep doing meaningless things. Their super powers do not seem to be of any use. They're like a bunch of people being under threats or attacks all the time.

Get a new screenwriter, or better cancel the show, please!

Nikita (2010–2013)

Totally Awesome

Wow is all I can say.

I just recently finished watching the first season, and before I started I didn't expect that I would be blown away by this show. But after I started watching it, I got addicted to it and couldn't help but watching all of the 22 episodes of the first season in 2 days.

Maggie Q as Nikita is totally amazing, as is Michael, Alex and all the other roles. The show totally looks like a movie, not just a TV show. It's so entertaining and addictive.

This show definitely deserves much more attention. I can't wait for the new episodes of season 2.

Rak haeng Siam (2007)

A True Gem

I just finished watching this movie, and I couldn't wait for its debut in Taiwanese theaters in August. In recent years, many Thai movies have become great hits in Taiwan, and I believe this one is going to overwhelm the others, especially with its young, gorgeous actors and actresses in this summer vacation season.

The descriptions of different kinds of love is so real and touching in this film. It's not mostly about gay, but a story of family and friends. After seeing it, you will agree with me.

The actors and actresses in this movie all performed very well. They look like real people in everyday life. The soundtracks are fantastic as well. I will definitely buy its DVD, or even BD, if it's included English or Chinese subtitles.
