This was the best Hallmark Christmas movie this year so far! It was enjoyable watching this movie with great casting, acting, writing, makeup, costumes/wardrobe, location/scenery, production and direction. I feel like they had to move through the events too fast in the last 30 minutes or so. This movie should've been a two-parter primiering on Saturday and Sunday night this weekend. Applause to Hallmark :)

Wrong cast used to tell this story. This movie was hard to watch because I was mostly confused by the ages. Especially when the high school friends came into the bar and then one was flashing her ring bragging. I was thinking if they've been dating since they were 15 years old and they're now in their 50s why does that even matter 40 years later? I understand that when Kira was younger she got raped by her Dad's best friend's son and the best friend then paid her Dad off the rest of his life to keep her silent. Instead of using a young actress to portray young Kira, they just put the old actress in an ugly wig. And something like that would make older Kira someone who was promiscuous and slept with absolutely EVERY and ANYONE? Huh? It seemed the kids were older than the Mom. Mom looked like she was in her early 40's, Lucas looked like he was in his late 40's and Kira looked like she was in her early 50's. So confused.
