It Chapter Two (2019)
Repetitive and too long
I watched the old version TV series of the 90s 3 times and this version in cinema, Part 1 of cinema version is better than TV series hand down, tons of costy special effects, great Pennywise and the story was good...but this Part 2 is not on par with the 1st part, it's repetitive, way too long and the story is deformed.
For the adult part of the story I much prefer the TV series
Supernatural: Moriah (2019)
How to make God bad
Spoiler alert!!!
This finale episode started well, funny with typical Winchester soul, even a hope to bring back Jack to the good side of the force, God aka Chuck appeared and it was bigger hope...then it went south and Chuck became the bad guy killing Jack with the most easy way and unleashing apocalypse!!
Dunno what happened in the heads of the writers but it makes no sense at all, Chuck fought his sister because she wanted to do this same thing and God can't be bad, it looks like a satanic point of view of religion.
Looks like Jack will be brought back by Death herself in next season.
Legion (2017)
Season 1 was awesome, season 2 is completely messed up
I really like season 1, plenty of action, coherent story, nice acting...then came season 2 with its messed up story line, full of philosophy courses, slow paced, drugs and BS. It ruined everything
The Shape of Water (2017)
What happened Del Toro??
I am a huge fan of Pan's labyrinth and El Orfanato movies by Del Toro, both were breathtaking with full on melodramatic feelings with a mix of fantasy and horror, that always make you cry in the end.
From the grades this Shape of Water had in imdb, (and apparently there is a bunch of fake reviewers paid by someone lastly on imdb) I was expecting something close to the 2 previous movies, alas...
-The story itself is a huge ''deja vu'' of an alien/monster/ but good that is tracked down by the army and hidden by ''friends''. Taken by Spielberg is a great example.
-The Music: Well while it was perhaps the most affecting factor in the 2 Del Toro movies I mentioned before, that make you cry in the end, in this Shape of Water it's totally weird and non-sense, it's like if Del Toro gave the sound effects and music field of this movie to a 5 years old child!!
-Politics: slightly pro-communist just like in Pan's Labyrinth, you have the bad but also the good guy being communist, perhaps Del Toro forgot that USSR and other communist dictatorships killed millions of innocent civilians? No need to make then ''the good guys'' everytime.
-The end: pathetic! totally null.
Conclusion: if you loved Pan's Labyrinth and El Orfanato, please don't watch this movie, you will hate Del Toro.
Nightworld (2017)
Not bad
This movie had an original plot, a door between the world of the living and the dead, the first half of the movie was really good with a good acting, the feeling of fear the building managers give is pretty good. Zara is perhaps the sweetest and best actor bringing some freshness in this dark place. Though it's not visual special effect that this movie lack but sound and music effects. I mean with this special kind of movies a la Stephen King where suspense and feelings are stronger than visual effects it definitely needs an audio boost of effects for creating fear and surprises, as well a a strong melodramatic music to increase the feelings.
Timeless (2016)
A TV series with a hidden message
This TV series is not only great because it shows History but most importantly it denounces without directly naming it the dark sect that we know as Free-Macon or Illuminati, which is far more powerful than you think in politics and in the medias. Rare are TV series producers who have the guts to talk about it, and it's good to see how dangerous and manipulative is this sect
West Beyrouth (À l'abri les enfants) (1998)
A false story about the Lebanese war
This movie was made during the Syrian occupation of Lebanon and so showed a false version of the real facts that started the Lebanese war 1975-1990. This movie is showing a Muslim-Christian problem that triggered the war while in reality it started between Palestinians and Lebanese. This movie is part of the big propaganda line the Syrian regime tried to do for years, putting a ''civil'' war name for the Lebanese war while it was in reality a war between Lebanese and Palestinians, then Lebanese and Syrians as well as Israelis
Wonder Woman (2017)
Very disappointing
First of all I love super heroes movies, specially the ones from Marvel, so I went to watch this DC one to see how good it's. Well the acting is good and the special effects too, but it's a bit boring, it has an anti-Christian hidden message as well as stupid useless sentence that killed the whole movie. Anti-Christian because they portrayed Zeus like God, Ares as Satan, human creation on the image of Zeus, Diana as Jesus... About the useless stupid sentence that killed the whole movie: it's what Diana said about men on the boat, and made happy lesbian and femen movements but not perhaps 80% of the people who are DC fans meaning guys, it's a stupid useless sentence that childishly contribute to the ''war of the sexes'', I don't want to go into details but as an answer to that sentence I can say it goes both ways as masturbation is also sufficient for men if we want to go technical...
Dark Matter (2015)
It was good now it's going down
When I started to watch this series 2 years ago I really liked it, good amount of action and adventure, a subtle amount of humor and a good story. Last year though (and I was not the only one to see how anti-male this show ended) it began to go down the toilets like if femens were running the show, all the ladies have super strength AND are super intelligent while the guys are portrayed as powerless, brainless and stupid. This season they went even further with another super strong lady played as a bodyguard and already 2 lesbian affairs with the feminine hero ''2'' and Nyx, as well as ''2'' and the Android's creator. Why all TV series directors feel the need to comply with lgbt propaganda to gain their support? They are killing the show. The only character I still like is Android who is beautifully played.
The Mist (2017)
Liberal radicals adaptation of King's book
While I liked the movie and the book, this series is horribly made. Acting is poor, the guy who must express sadness is actually smiling. LGBT pure radicalism showing a gay super star with gay scene, again and again you are free to make gay section with horror flavors but don't touch Stephen King stories. Anti-Christian: the priest is showed as nearly a lunatic and the old hippy lady who believe in insects is winning against him. Stephen King should stop this adaptation ASAP!
The Man from Earth (2007)
Boring and boring!
So as a Scifi fan and giving the high rating (extremely overrated)I decided to watch this movie and I regret I did here's why: -It has NOTHING to do with science fiction, so if you are expecting a movie with special effects and an interesting story... go away! -No action AT ALL, just a guy talking with a bunch of crazy ''experts'' from 1st to last minute! -And here's why it got totally overrated (this movie should haven't got more than 2 over 10): all the atheists over IMDb voted highly for it because it's totally mocking Jesus. -The acting (even though some actors are generally very good outside this movie) is very pity-full, even a school acting children are more convincing. -Another non-sense is that the Bible expert in this movie couldn't say anything to answer to him apart ''sacrilege'' while she could easily beat him to dust with the various miracles Jesus did, Virgin Mary appearances through out History, Saints miracles...oh I forgot she's not Catholic, so she doesn't believe in all that, How convenient for the movie producer!! Even if you don't believe in God, this movie is soooo boring and non-sense that for your own sake don't lose 90mn of your life for nothing!
