Kuan meun ho (2010)
Coincindentally Great
Two strangers met not in their country instead in Korea, one got drunk, one helped, two of them fall in love. Cliché? yeah? no? both. Both of them have great sense of coincidences that everyone has been dreaming about in falling in love, which is a and not a cliché.
The movie opens up with a hanging situation because some people may not understand what was it. The movie itself developed a lot in the middle and the ending. The opening? D'uh.. I'm not giving it perfect score because it is not perfect. Some cliché here and there. Most great scene here, there, and many more. Any fantasy you've ever dreamed is here. Starting from thinking whether your soul mate is thinking about you or not. Whether you are in love with him/her or not. Whether he/she is still loyal to us waiting. Finally in the end we see a very great coincidence happened, which is almost unlikely not gonna happen to a real life story but this is a film right? anything happens here. OR. This is a fateful movie where love connects through a bridge of coincidences. Yeah~!
Sing lek lek tee reak wa rak (2010)
Nostalgic even if you didn't have experience like this
This movie is absolutely amazing. One of many movies that can make me feel flying just remembering how good it was to have a crush on somebody. Some friends of mine say this movie wouldn't do well if it were released worldwide. I didn't completely agree with that because they were correct. Partly. People who has experienced this kind of feeling(Having a crush, First Love, etc.) will at least rate this film above 8. I guarantee that. Either you are Asian or Non-Asian because this movie originated from A Non-Asian country. And yeah, i'm an Asian. People which is Non-Asian hardly find experiences like this movie there. but here, In Asia, it happens. ALMOST EVERYONE has experienced it. oh yeah, the acting. They weren't bad. Pimchanok plays well either being ugly duckling or being a swan queen. Mario plays as a Almost-perfect-to- student-in-Asia guy that covers his feeling greatly, even though his acting wasn't as great as pimchanok was. And yeah, the story(for me) is a cliché, and that's what makes this movie simply amazing. The superb display of cliché story makes me feel NOSTALGIC
My Boss, My Hero (2006)
Deep
Let's start from the beginning. The opening scenes/episode were not too good i admit it. It gets deeper the more you watch it. The more you watch it, the more you feel the depth of this (almost)perfect series(for me). Why is that? It is rare we find some film or series with a steady climax, steady conflicts or even steady love. But this one? Perfect. It mixes the joy of comedy, the depth of friendship, the depth of togetherness, the depth doubt of a man, and the depth of clumsy side of everyone. The acting was a little bit of exaggerating but that's what makes this series special. The fighting were almost good since this is not fully an action series. The conflict was added smoothly. The soundtracks stay on your mind. No doubt that this is a balanced comedy/action/crime/romance/drama/tearjerker - strike the unneeded one - series i've ever watched.
