Not as good as the first one
14 August 2002
Okay.. So I was sitting at home on a saturday night with over 20 movie channels, with nothing better to watch than Bare Wench 3. What a country! Look... I admit.. I liked the first one.. But the series just kinda got old.. I mean.. It was no different than the first one.. This one wasn't even funny.. I was getting bored staring at their chests and they focused a bit more on plot, which kinda ruined it... But all in all.. Hey.. What can I really expect from a movie like that?

Funny Stuff
14 August 2002
The HBO Comedy Half-Hour was put together very well.. They pulled some of the funniest people together and output something great. Dave Chappelle, one of the funniest comedians in the business did not let me down, Lara Kightlinger with her cynical style of comedy was also very funny.. (Although I swear I heard her use some of those lines in a comedy central special). Although I had never seen Patton Oswald before, That guy had me rolling on the ground his entire sketch. The rest of the comics were also very funny. In conclusion, They were good... so watch them..... right now..

One thing saved it..
14 August 2002
Now look.. I love the game, and am an avid fan. However, right off the bat, I did not expect much. It lived up to my expectations and not a penny over. The movie had two things going for it, and one thing that saved it from dying. Many people had the opinion that the game was incredibly medieval. This totally gave a new perspective to the public. The only thing that kept me watching was Zoe McLellan. That girl is such a hottie, and deserves an Oscar for putting up with Marlon Wayans. Now.. What really confused me was Thora Birch. Now, I know that girl has some talent, because she did an okay job in American Beauty. However.. She must have had a horrible script writer, or something.. I mean.. she was just bad..

Wow...
14 August 2002
Wow.. That is all I can say.. This has got to be the best plot for a soft-core I have ever seen. I was entertained all the way through. In most full length soft-cores, you get tired of porn after awhile. However, I just didn't find myself getting tired of Laura Palmer. The babe is just too gorgeous. They need more soft cores with better plots. Thumbs up! (Wow.. I just gave a very enthusiastic review for a porno... Maybe I need to go back to watching the Sundance channel for awhile. Hmm...)

Wish Upon a Star (1996 TV Movie)
A really good film for Disney
14 August 2002
Okay... I admit... The only reason I bothered was because of Katherine Heigl. But, once I sat down and watched the film, I really got into it. I mean, Disney is known for doing a lot of movies where teens switch places, and they usually are really bad.. However, this movie turned out really well. What really impressed me, was how well the two girls acted out each other's roles. By the end of the movie, I was clapping by myself in my empty living room. Plus, It had the band Moonpools & Caterpillars perform. Those guys rock! If somehow you get into a situation where you are locked in a padded room, bound and gagged, and forced to watch disney movies for the rest of your life; Watch this movie first, and then kill yourself...

Dog Eat Dog (I) (2002–2003)
I hate to be cynical.. But depicts Americans as Idiots
12 August 2002
Okay.. I realize that standards are falling, and the nation is becoming dumber and dumber as less and less books are being read, and more shows like this are being thrown on the air. The sad thing, is Americans are buying into it. The game show is based upon six contestants who are playing as a "team", yet constantly bashing each other, and attempting to widdle away at the the team until one person is remained standing. Then once one person is left, they set it up so that the other 5 contestants answer trivia questions at the end to try to take and split the money that the sole contestant has earned. What makes it a poor competitive game show, is that the sole contestant doesn't even get to answer the questions.. He merely gets to pick who gets to answer them... Where is the competition in that? That is hardly my main contention with the program... My biggest problem with the show, is that it makes the whole country look like idiots. If these are the finest that America has to put on a game show, we are in big trouble. I mean, supposedly, 6 average people are put into this "competition", and sadly the product is utter stupidity. Every two seconds they are blindly insulting each other, passing judgements, while the innocent seeming hostess reads off her cue cards, and asks provoking questions. The sad thing is American teens are eating it up. It has everything MTV has prescribed for this generation: A by standards hot host, verbal abuse, and conflict. What is the point? Why don't they just give each contestant their share of the money to run around naked and swear at each other? Now don't get me wrong, I am by no means a conservative thinker... However, It upsets me to see people buy into this crap. Is this what the future of television is going to be like? Is this an indication of what the future of America is going to be like?

So.. If you are 13, and want to see something entertaining to your sex drive and adrenaline, get a dirty magazine.. If you want to watch an hour of trash, watch "Dog eat Dog".

The Jennie Project (2001 TV Movie)
Not Disney's finest work
12 August 2002
Call me sad.. I am a 16 year old who actively spends hours around the TV watching the Disney channel with my sister. A lot of it is entertaining, however this was most boring piece of junk I have seen since... I am sorry.. I cannot think of anything less entertaining.. I will break it down: A boy and a monkey, and how the monkey brings a family closer together. By the end of the movie, I didn't feel anything. No emotion.. The monkey could have been shot ten times with a tranq gun, and brought to the middle of the India where they eat monkeys; only to have the little boy run around for another hour trying to collect random body parts from the local merchants.. I wouldn't have shed a tear. Actually I was kind of hoping that would happen. I apologize to the soccer moms out there who are reading this, but it needs to be said.. To the Disney Executives who might come across this: If you are going to do a movie with a bad plot, get some hot women in it.. Please, for the demographic percentage of single 14-16 year old boys who are forced to watch Disney because of their younger siblings.. Hot women... Please... Thank you. :)

Blowback (2000)
A cop/priest who knows every word of the bible.. Wow.
12 August 2002
I am stumped... What can I say? Didn't we see this exact same role in the movie "The Prophecy". At least there was some good acting in that movie.. I can't say too many good things about this film. It looked like it was slapped together in a month. I did not buy the blonde girl's acting at all, and by the end.. I could have sworn I had just seen a porno. However, I was convinced by my friend that I shouldn't have expected much from a Mario Van Pebbles film. After all, he did do "Highlander 3". *shudders* However.. I must admit, it kept me watching, as most Mario Van Peebles movies tend to keep me doing. I think it has something to do with the cheeziness of the plots. The movie did not follow any police procedure. Three words: Witness Protection Program.

Stephen Rea saved it...
12 August 2002
One thing saved this film.. Stephen Rea's acting job. I have never seen a personallity archetype in a hollywood film, that comes close; which really made his character interesting to watch. Heather Locklear is hot... That is the only thing she has going for her. Personally she should stick to the Money Talks type roles, as she did not carry this film well. Peter Greene once again played Peter Greene, as he has done for every movie since The Mask. So, I cannot say much about him. It was fun to watch I suppose... But reiterating, the Stephen Rea performance really saved it.

Would I watch this film again? Yes.
