Girl Crazy (1943)
Garland and Rooney, Who Could Ask For Anything More???
Forget the plot, in my opinion, this is the best of the Garland/Rooney films.
Mickey is a delight especially in their duet Could You Use Me?
Even better is Judy who steals the show. Her songs from "Embraceable You", "But Not For Me", and "Bidin My Time" are spectacular.
She also looks absolutely beautiful throughout the movie.
The highlight of the film is Judy singing the outstanding "I Got Rhythm". The vocal strength shows why she was the best singer of her era!!
An absolutely must see film!!

COME ON....GET HAPPY!
This is one of my favorite Judy Garland movies. She is absolutely charming in the role of Jane Falbury. Whether she's acting, dancing or singing, Judy is marvelous. She is very funny in this movie as a farm girl who can't understand why her sister wants to be a theatrical person. Alas, she gets the bug...and steals the show. Garland's best number is Get Happy. She is outstanding in her delivery and her voice is the best not to mention her physical appearance. She sings this song in her trademark half tuxedo and legs are great. She actually lost about 20 pounds before she filmed this. All I can say is you'll love it. JUDY RULES!
