Invasion (2021–2024)

Ended up fast forwarding
10 December 2021
Warning: Spoilers
What was probably really difficult to act scenes, was completely ruined by the poor pacing of the show. You really can grow attached to the characters and their story lines but the editing and direction of the show is excruciatingly slow. I had to fast forward scenes which probably were really moving but because there were 10 other slow scenes in the same episode I just wanted to get it over and done with.

Unfortunately although they tried to leave us with a cliffhanger at the end, it's more like a window ledge on the ground floor. I just don't care enough for season 2. Will I watch it? Maybe. But I'm not holding my breath for it.

Oh no, Disney

Warning: Spoilers
I don't know how you've done it but the cartoon was more believable than this movie. I'm still watching it but that battle scene with the avalanche...was so poorly done.

It's such a shame. Read the other reviews - I'm sure we all say the same thing.

So-so

Warning: Spoilers
Well...where do I start. This movie was on at 'midday movie time', 12:00 in the afternoon. Now, I usually do not expect a lot from the movies displayed at this time, and this movie did not change my mind on this opinion. I think many people can whole-heartedly agree with me when I say Mid-day movies are generally tragic. Now to review:

I think that in the end I was rather pleased with the plot of the story. This isn't a spoiler so I won't put in any details. I was shocked with the outcome of who the bad guys were and what not, and I think that the 'key' at the end was a good idea. The downside of the movie however were the goofs! There were so many subtle errors and silly mistakes that the director made when blocking the scenes. OK, so a lot of the decisions made were to benefit the rest of the storyline, but it was still rather tragic.

The best actor (though still very poor) was Barbera.

My review is hardly very in-depth with justification, but I only have 1000 words. So, with that...i say: It was good for a midday movie, and brought me back into the room after each ad break.

Legend of the Dragon (2005–2008)

What a shocker of a show
18 February 2008
I woke up this morning and turned on the telly to Children's TV. This show, Legend of the Dragon was on, and the whole time i watched it I was thinking, OH MY GOSH, I'm going to go and write a review, or rather just winge, on IMDb.

What is with the pathetic voice acting. "Uggghhh, noooah....Anyg is dyiiiinng...whatever shall we dooo?!" ARGH it just got me fuming.

And then the ridiculous fight scenes. Sure they are impressive, but they are like, challenging each other to see who can do the best "triple double flip via stingy kick pow punch wowza." Ayng was talking, or rather monologuing, while versing the bad guy, and as he is doing so, hes flipping in the air!!!!!!! And doesn't even punch the guy. He just flips.

With that, i end my winge. Hope you agree. The drawings are the only thing that does the show justice.
