Zane Holtz seriously?
12 March 2014
Warning: Spoilers
I started watching this with quite a bit of anticipation. George Clooney's role is a poor clone at best. The character of Richie is supposed to be creepy and unsettling. Zane Holtz's is neither creepy or unsettling, he's simple. I don't think this guy could creep anyone out, even with a bag of feces on his head. The guy gives the whole geek look a bad name. I've seen two year old's act more psychotic and be more believable. If it wasn't for the images having to be projected on the screen so that one gets a glimpse into Richie's mind, one would have to wonder why the drool was missing. Now if a role for a simpleton come up I know who should be first call. First time I watched the show is the last time I watch the show.

Emotion, we don't need no stinking emotion!
22 November 2013
I followed this series through the first season and kept thinking, this guy (Stephen Amell)has got to get better some how. Well, that hasn't materialized. I don't think Stephen Amell could make someone think he had to defaecate if he had a box of laxatives. I I came across someone in real life with the emotion the characters display in this series I'm assume right away that they needed mental help. It's like people who didn't work out anywhere else all wound up here. Such a huge pool of bad talent.

And what's up with the mother and daughter, do they have herpes? What the hell is on their lips?(gross)

Jaden Smith couldn't act sick if he had the flu.
15 June 2010
First and foremost I failed to see any level of charm or charisma in Jaden Smith. For the first part of the film I thought it was a little girl not knowing who the actor was. I don't believe that if it were not for his father he wouldn't be trying to acting.

The only saving grace I found in this film was Jackie Chan who did a fair job, but very possibly could have added much more to the film had he been allowed to be funny.

The stunts were very good as they appeared to be done by very competent stunt people.

The story line didn't seem to hold the same charm of the original such as the wax on and wax off. The coat, come on that was as bad a joke as could be done to parody the original.

Ralph Macchio and Pat Morita were cute and charming, but compared to what I watched in this version they should be getting Oscars. Not many remakes shine better than the originals and this one is no different, except that it does much to make the original look like a super nova.

Define Funny, because this isn't it.
20 April 2010
I have seen both actors in very funny movies, but this isn't one of them. The plot and premise are just so weak that the writing should have been much stronger to carry it. This film has to be at least one notch lower than "The Spy Nextdoor". I love Chan's movies but failed to find the humor in, "The Spy Nextdoor". This movie didn't have funny lines the chase scene was weak, and for the most part I fail to find anything amusing about this film.

I must admit that I had never seen Tina Fey's legs before. Those were great. Can someone please put something out that is actually funny or is this part of the dumbing down of America?

What were they thinking?
11 January 2010
I watched this from start to finish. It was painful to say the least. When I saw the performances by John Leguizamo, Florencia Lozano, Wanda De Jesus and have to wonder if these people could even act like they needed to have a bowel movement after a box of laxatives.

I've seen better performances from babies acting like they were hurt throwing a tantrum.

Leguizamo needs to stick with comedy as that seems to be the only avenue that has some semblance of talent for him. To date there isn't a film that comes to mind that Leguizamo has done that is even worth mentioning, much less remembering.

Wow, neither the cop or the FBI had any eye for detail!
6 October 2009
Detail is what seems to be missing from this type of film. If it has the detail then it's so good, but if it doesn't have detail as is the case of this film, I spend my time looking for faults that the writers missed.

When the cop is asked what kind of car was driven and he says I don't remember. My first thought was, "Now what cop misses big details like that?".

Film is just bad. I've seen William Forsythe do a much better job of acting, but given he was following a directors direction with a crap script his lack of performance is understandable.

For the most part Terri Colombino is one of the players that given what she had to work with did a pretty good job. I guess that the biggest disappointment was that the fake land lady never did do a nude scene in the film. I looked like she had the rack to set a world record!

Not the worst I've seen but pretty close.
23 September 2009
I've never gone the distance to comment on a film. This film was so bad that I was amazed at the current rating it has. I have to ask myself "How?". I tried to vote for it but every time I tried it came back: Sorry, there was a problem collecting your vote. Please try again...

I even tried a different browser in the event that, that was the issue.

I saw a lot of promise in this film that was totally tossed out the window. So much of what like so many other films could have been good was simply written with a lack of imagination and lack of effort for detail. I guess that would have to be my biggest complaint about the film. The total lack of detail.

I've seen comic books with more detail than this film. That might explain why some of the films based on comic books are so much better.

Not to be to harsh on the actors in the film but from the performances I don't feel they could act like they had to defecate if they had a box of laxatives.
