It's a fun movie with a good message.

This movie does not take itself seriously and it has great action and an interesting premise. It's a borderline parody horror movie, but the story is a lot of fun. It's not trying to be the most convincing movie about an evil doll. It's very predictable but it makes you root for the main character. If you like to laugh, like horror movies and like movies about robots, you will have fun here. Ronnie Chen did a great job here. I cannot wait to see the sequel which they very clearly set it up for. This is a better movie than Chuckie was in every way. The movie is a little bit preachy but not too much.

The Devil You Know (III) (2022)

Really good acting and controvertial theme

I'll keep it short. This is a family drama where an extremely close-knit family bonds together to pay for each others sins, while having to balance their morality with their loyalty to each other. The acting from all of the main characters was top-notch. The story was well constructed. I think a lot of people will be displeased by some of the choices of the characters and racial innuendos of the movie, but I felt like I could really relate to this family. You may also find the little news/radio segments throughout the movie to be jarring in just how BAD the acting from the newscasters/announcers are, especially in contrast with just how good the acting is in the rest of the movie.

Perfect cinematography. Excellent symbolism and imagery.

The art choices in this movie we're really special. The way they filmed everything was really glossy and almost luxurious. Juxtaposed against the horror of the combat and the tragic desperation of all the characters is really jarring. The dramatic set changes are really disorienting. The flashbacks are executed at all the perfect opportunities. I can't say enough about what a masterpiece this was. I can't give it a 9 because I kind of wish they had given some more history to some of the characters in the end.

Never saw the French one but this is fantastic

Kevin Hart had a great performance as a down-trodden and oppressed man trying to heal.

Bryan Cranston was great as a victim trying to heal.

Natalie Portman did a great job as a protector role.

It's a very feel-good movie with solid acting.
