Has Horror Elements but is not?

When I plan to watch a (HORROR) movie, I look to it's absolute genres. I was determined that this was a horror movie and I must see it. I thought it was, but I am also amazed how fantastic this is. It doesn't matter if it is in English or Spanish for me. This also reflects some facts about the Spanish War.

The film reflects the horror, thrill, sadness and hope all in one. I can see say that I was very sad during the end and in some scenes that I can't talk about because I don't want to choose Yes choice in spoilers. Also, I think requiring that preference is very important. Anyways, as I was saying, this film has very very good writing and if it had a sequel, I would watch it after a millisecond.

I Love These Kinds of Films

I am surprised to see a film like this. I was already planning to watch Midsommar and this has came to my attention. I cannot lie but I love Folk Horror. It has a very much potential to scare me, other than other horror film subgenres. The fact that I loved about this film is that it is very very old, and has some good elements of old English lifestyle.

Must say, I also like the writing and also the actings. This film has some real things going on with it. Should be watched while it is a bit warm in the room. Because, oh boy, the scare and thrill will make you colder than a corpse. I hope this film will be rated good.

Vivarium (2019)

Best Liminal Space Movie

Oh boy, where do I even begin. But I must say this film has been a topic for the stupid YouTube Shorts videos. I mean they post a video part by part, which is the most stupid thing on earth. So, as I mentioned, this film had been in my attention since 3 or 4 years, I don't know. Finally, I learned it's name and I watched it. This is pretty good and also a better example of how to use CGI. And it gives me the creeps too.

It is also in a good writing and is full of some mysterious things that I couldn't even solve. I am sure they thought of those little things. Overall, I think this is really good and a bit concerning as it has some crazies going on.

Terrifier 2 (2022)

Can't Resist the Well Writing

When I first watched the first film (with amazement) I knew that the second film would be better than that. I was true. This is just a masterpiece. Nothing more, nothing less. But I can say that I was very sad during the very very gory scene when Sienna's friend and her mother was killed so brutally. It even hurt me inside.

The story is also we'll written. That is what I am thankful for. This is just a short summary of the modern teen horror. I am grateful that I watched this type of film. My day couldn't have been better. Although this is very bad for me, as it could effect me bad, I am passionate about horror films. Recommended if you love gore too.

Terrifier (2016)

Perfect as Hell

I am amazed by how the story is and how good it is in the play. It is literally one of the most best horror films that I enjoyed watching and was fascinated in this. This film has the potential to be the No. 1 best horror film I experienced. I would wish for my memory to be deleted so I can watch this in amazement again.

It is basic that the film is a very well written and is played. There is much gory scenes and also many many violent sceneries. Although this is a bad thing, this is also what I would want to watch in my horror film. If you have a very sensitive stomach, just don't even think of it.

All Hallows Eve Trickster (2023)

Very Nonsense and Absurd

I thought that this film would be marvelous, as this is (some kind of) part of the All Hallows' Eve. I was wrong. None of the stories makes sense and I don't really think it was that high budget. The main story is also a bit like a misunderstandable one. There is some sort of feelings in me that I got some very upset.

I couldn't also believe that this is part of All Hallows' Eve film series. I would think that it must be so wonderful. As I watched the film, I understood it wasn't really that good and was just a piece of poo (i don't even use this word often). I hope that this film series won't continue. Not recommended.

All Hallows' Eve 2 (2015)

Very Impressing

So this film is basically made of more than 10 stories and all of them are just as traumatic as it seems. I want to take attention to the thing that this film is special with its own unique complication of stories. From the most disturbing to the scariest one, I love it.

One more thing to say is the acting. We saw the main character for 10 minutes or so but the killer is actually seen longer so doesn't really add up to make a whole paragraph talking about the actings but the stories' acting is not so bad but also not that good too. I am not saying that it is very very bad but not enough frightening to me.

All Hallows' Eve (2013)

Very Gory, Very Good

So I would like to say first that this film is just an original and it is beautiful. I appreciate how the stories are and is very well-written. I would watch it several times if it didn't have so much violent scenes and gory images. Fells like I'm in that film too. But really, those effects are very real.

I also would like toto say the acting is good. Art the Clown gives the best acting skills to me and the actor could be a real psychopath by how realistic those moves and grins are. I am fascinated with the scares too. I literally dropped an f-bomb while watching it. The end was a very big surprise too.

The Babadook (2014)

More than Horror

I've been crawling to watch this film. I thought that this couldn't be so scary, right? Well, no. There a lot of thrilling scenes which made me feel scared but there is not much jumpscares actually. I can say that I enjoyed this film but also, something doesn't feel right. Just forget it. The Babadook is scary as it must be.

The Babadook is an unforgettable horror film especially for kids. Though it's story is around a kid and a mother, this film contains very much frightening scenes. Also focuses on a tragedy about that family as if I will say I have to mark the spoiler option so no. This film is not absurd and I can recommend to anyone who is +16.

The Curse of La Llorona (2019)

Can't Be Any Better

See here, I am not a really big fan of folk horror. But this film is just something different. I liked this very much. The cast and the fictional writing is marvelous. I mean the La Llorona is real but the story is not. The rituals and also the connection between The Conjuring Universe is also a part of the film which makes it good. The Wolves at the Door film is also connected but I didn't like it that much.

When I started watching this film I was curious that if it wasn't good. I thought this was very low budget and was a bad movie. But I was wrong. This is very good quality and also very real film which has to be one of the good movies I've watched before. I would recommend if you want some action.

Seems Good But Not Much

The films which are based on real events always has been a very big hit to me. But this one is a bit more complicated. Of course I am not talking about the real events of these murders but this film feels unfinished to me.

It seems like this is under a very low budget. The vanishing and appearing inside or outside is a demonic thing. But I mean doing that on a real human is very fictional. And also I didn't see any reality in the first kill. Looks much like a painting on a face. I think it could be more realistic as the head was smashed with a sledgehammer. I don't know the continuation of that but seems pretty fake. Although there is no more things that is wrong about this film.

The Nun II (2023)

Very Much Fictional

As I have researched the film's story is heavily fictional. The story is actually not real and thank God it is. It would be terrifying to find an old woman lying on ground.

The film itself is not very scary at all except for some 2 scenes as you can now think what will come next but the storyline that continues is a bit strange. Don't ask me why but I felt that some 2 or 3 scenes doesn't make sense like the goat scene. The goat's eye is showing a way to a pair of eyes. Which is holy. Now I wouldn't think that can make any sense but this is heavily fictional film so it's not that bad. The other thing is that this isn't scary anymore. I remember I was a baby when I were watching the first films and they were scary. Anyways, I really loved this film. I recommend.

Why So Low Rating?

I thought anybody who is not even a horror film fan would like this but I see that it is approx. 5 stars? Are you out of your mind? The series are one of the highest grossing horror franchises. Anyways, I liked this film no matter what. The göre is severe here and some disturbing scenes can be added but that opening of the gate scene is a bit nonsense for sure.

Although the story, storyline and the connection between the whole Conjuring Universe is necessary and intersting; I think some of the parts of the film doesn't make sense. For example, the nuns pray to keep Valak inside but they all were a imagination? I don't know man. But that scene actually shows how powerful the Valak is as it needs to be prayed 24/7. Recommended.

Finale? I Don't Think So

As I was saying in this franchise's previous films, this is based on a true story too. I am so excited to watched the Nun series and the other related 2 films.

This film is actually more real compared to others as there is a trial for a murder. In the film's start, there is a possessed kid and then the curse passes to his sister's beloved one. The film here gets more interesting. As they are in the dog hotel or smt, Arne (beloved one) kills the owner while the poor man was just dancing and drinking (actually after that dance). The trial took place in 1981 and Johnson only served 5 years. The film actually is interesting but it is a bit too complicated.

The Conjuring 2 (2016)

Again Based on Real Events??

The first film was already scary because it was based on real events. Now I have another problem. The second film is also based on real events? Well I might take my childhood teddy bear with me to bed again. The make-up on the demon is already scary. I mean just look at those teeth and how those eyes look. And to gain the trust, it is disguised as a nun. Very clever.

So the real story is that Hodgson family moved to their house after a divorce is struggling and wanted some attention. As I know this story is fake but the film is based so no problem there. The film's story flips the real story and Warrens actually return to Hodgson's house and saves Janet from falling into a sharp tree. I recommend.

The Conjuring (2013)

Based on Real Story??

I didn't know that events in this film was real (in a different way). In real life, the Warrens get summoned to the house and investigate. While the exorcism, Carolyn gets a bit hurt and Roger kicks the investigators out. After some years, Perrons move to another house. But in this film, the demon gets out the body of Carolyn. Some fiction going here but that works (I'm not even sure about a reliable source).

While this film was playing in front of me I jumped a lot and I wasn't relaxed for 1 minute each. The jumps are like in Annabelle. Very scary. I didn't see any bad thing in this film. And being based on real events are already scary. So with the feeling of that scare, I was cold as I can say. I would recommend.

Annabelle Comes Home (2019)

I am Grateful About This

Now I have watched all 3 of the films and I am understanding the magic itself. I am now thinking that I can continue but the thing is I am now scared of these stories as I will believe these are real. As I researched, I learned that both the first and second are fictional. But they still give me creeps.

The Annabelle was always been a horrifying figure to me since I was a child but I liked the stories about it. Anyways, the film is about a girl to bring back her dead dad (word joke here). The story is a bit absurd but the play is good. The emotions are on the viewers for sure. We also get to introduced with some new demons that are also horrifying. I would recommend this time be watched while day, if you know what I mean.

Annabelle: Creation (2017)

One of the Best Sequel Ever

I was very curious about the first film but I was now determined that I would watch the sequel no matter what. This film is not actually a sequel but the origins of the Annabelle doll as it can be understood from the title if the film. The film starts tragic which of course probably a manipulative way to make a film more exciting (a good thing).

I was very scared when the film ended as this was a horrifying experience. I felt cold while watching it although all the radiators were on in the house. Even I pulled the quilt over me I still felt the cold in my feet. I recommend this to watch on hot Summer days.

Annabelle (I) (2014)

A Terrifying Film to Watch

I knew this Annabelle story since I am a child. I really enjoyed of these horror stories. And now I grew up and watched this film. I was very excited to watch this film. I haven't been scared a lot before this film. Probably because I knew the stories of the films I watched previously.

The story is real and interesting. I get to know how that witchcraft, magic and devil works after I watched the whole series (not the whole Conjuring Universe yet). The film is based on real events in 1970 which is a pretty far year. The whole series also explains many things that you can wonder in your mind. I found this original film very good. I would recommend this to watch at night.

Krampus (I) (2015)

Good to Watch on Christmas

My review on this film is positive but there are some catches. First of all this is a pretty good movie and I can recommend anybody to watch it. I am actually not a fan of holiday films but because of this is a horror film, I watched it and liked it.

The catches are a bit small. First of all this film's storyline is a bit messed up for me. The elves enter the house and only took some of the characters. There was enough elves to get all of them but forget it. The second catch is the unclosable jaw of Krampus. Just looks a bit stupid. The screen time of Krampus is short but that didn't escaped from my eye.

Overall there is no bad thing about this film. Just a really good holiday horror film. Recommended.

Trick 'r Treat (2007)

Well Written, Well Played

Trick 'r Treat is actually pretty good in many ways such as it's writing. As I always say, the storyline is significant for me always. That is why I always rate a film by that, despite some other facts. And this film contains all. I loved how also timelines are placed. This film hands you 4 stories on Halloween night. It all is in a particular timeline. You can see other characters in other stories while another story is told.

I've watched Michael Dougherty's Krampus film and it was also marvelous as this was. The one is for the Christmas and the other one is for Halloween. I wouldn't be surprised if there was for a Easter Day! But overall, I liked this film. I enjoyed watching and recommend to people.

Willy's Wonderland (2021)

A Really Well Experience

Willy's Wonderland was recommended by a friend of mine. I thought it was a poor movie and was just a copy of Five Nights at Freddy's. But it is probably an inspiration of the franchise. The story goes as it is and the kills are actually very impressive. The problem is, why a famous actor like Nicholas Cage is speechless. Man got a kill in front of his eyes and still ain't talking a single word.

I think this is a pretty good movie for horror movie lovers, like me. I enjoyed watching this film. I wouldn't be also surprised to see some similarities between the FNaF and this film. I recommend you this film.

Doctor Sleep (2019)

A Pretty Good Sequel

This film is one of the best sequels I have ever seen in my life. This film continues the storyline with more characters. The casting and acting is well. Budget is also well. There is nothing bad about this film, as I see. I would like to see a film like this again. The scenes can be a bit disturbing when it comes to blood but that's okay.

There is no problems, as I said, which makes it a good movie. I don't care about a movie's average ranking but the storyline is important to me. I enjoyed it. It is also good to see some memories. I would also be a fan if The Shining if I saw a sequel like this and a story like that.

Five Nights at Freddy's (2023)

After Many Years, Here It Is

I remember the time when I was into FNaF in 2020 so much that I researched about it a bit and was interested. Upon my research I've come across with the delay of the film in the past which made me a surprised a bit. Like, how a pretty good franchise like this couldn't have it's original film?? I thought those were completed because I knew FNaF before 2020.

The film is going very good, casting is well and the storyline is independent from the main game, I think. The film is actually good and deserves 10 stars but It seems that the film can be a hard-understanding for the new FNaF fans. I mean if I joined the FNaF community this week and watched the film, I would be very confused. But Scott knows the best!

The Shining (1980)

Watched Multiple Times

I remember I grew up watching films like this. I was amazed those days when I watched these. The storyline of this film is pretty good and the timelines are a bit confusing. I watched this movie first when I was 5 or 6. Yes, I watched it when I was younger. Me and my parents would enjoy it even.

I always wanted to watch films like this. And so, I am currently watching horror films in a line. I started with The Shining because I wanted to honour one of the best films of all times. I also watched the sequel and it good was also good. The story goes as it is and it also gets more interesting as expected. The Shining came out more than 40 years and it is still Shining as it was.
