Il Boemo (2022)
A very good movie!
I watched this movie in a small cinema theater, and I was amazed with the result.
This is a great story showcasing a composer who made something beautiful and emotional, transitioning from a normal scene to parts of opera where sopranos are singing, making the whole film even better.
Long movie, with a lot of scenes sometimes going fast, but beautiful scenery. The connection between him and his last love, was even more motivating for him, while the ending was touching; he wrote a piece of art where his emotions came out and made others feel similar.
Worth watching if are interested, especially if you like opera.
Dashte khamoush (2020)
A well maid movie
When I saw this movie outside was raining and I just had a small nap, the movie had already started and slowly slowly it was getting my attention. I really liked what I saw, everything from actors and scenes where perfectly put.
The scenario was well written and slow, going through the lives of the workers from the start to the end. It was touching and hard to see people working for years, getting fired, and nowhere to go or continue.
The black and white was the right choice, while small camera movements and transitions keep the movie go on. I believe this film speaks more from its photo or image than from the discussions that the workers have with each other.
If you are fan of the black and white, and like long films, you should watch it.
PS: I was really sad about Lotfollah.
Amanda (2018)
A lovely movie worth watching
I was watching TV, and the movie came on. As I was trying to figure out what it was about, I kept watching more and more, and to say the truth, I really liked it, but I only watched half of the film until yesterday, when I watched it from the start to end.
The story goes through their lives, showing how connected they are, until everything changes and the Big Brother has to choose the future of his niece, the emotions they go through, trying to get along, and all of this comes in place using simple and powerful emotional scenes.
The way Amanda reacts in most of the scenes, are something else, touching and sweet, David is trying to his best to make her feel comfortable and safe.
I liked the way it was filmed, the camera or effect they used to create the old effect on the screen, the colors, and the beautiful scenes in France and England.
Overall, not boring at all, a wonderful film, worth watching.
Cenzorka (2021)
A beautiful movie/documentary
I would say it's more of a movie than a documentary. It goes through the life of a woman who is sent to jail after having a baby, and then it shows the lives of other women too.
There are scenes that make you lough and scenes that make you love, smile, and so on. The director is trying to show every aspect of the story because it's not just a prison, but a place with kids.
It may look boring, but it is not. Following along with Lesya, it creates questions: what will happen to her son? Will they send him to an orphanage? Will a family member take him?
If you are into this kind of movies is worth watching!
