Animal (2023)
The director's vision was palpable in this movie. The actors seemed to be mere instruments for his expression.
The story overall is an intense expression of emotions. Father son relation, sister brother relation and wife and husband relation. It even covers the families loyalty towards each other. However, the entire movie is male dominant and talks about the alphas and women merely play a small role and are completely consumed into Vijays life. Vijay also contradicts himself in situation and is not loyal to his wife while his relation early on promises that. He even contradicts himself when he is completely consumed with one goal and totally ignores his kids while he expects that from his father. His wife has completely no influence on him and has absolutely no value. The intimacy between them also seemed very poor. Most of the intimate scenes lacked chemistry. All in all, Vijay is a very stubborn, over confident guy who has his own right and wrong and sticks to it completely. On the contrary, Bobby deols acting skills were extraordinary. Rather was great too but Bobby totally stole the show. All in all, atkeast for me I saw the director in Rabhir, Bobby and Anil. It felt like it was the director and actors merely a tool to express his vision."
Hello, this is Bing. I can help you with editing your review. Here is a possible revised version:
"The story is a powerful portrayal of various emotions and relationships. It explores the bonds between father and son, sister and brother, and husband and wife, as well as the loyalty within the family. However, the movie is dominated by the male perspective and the alpha mentality. The female characters have little agency and are overshadowed by Vijay's life. Vijay himself is inconsistent and hypocritical. He breaks his promises to his wife, neglects his children, and demands respect from his father. His wife has no influence on him and is treated as worthless. The intimacy between them is unconvincing and lacks chemistry. Vijay is a stubborn and overconfident man who follows his own moral code. Ranbhir's acting was great. On the other hand, Bobby Deol's performance is outstanding. Ranbir Kapoor is also good, but Bobby steals the show. For me, the movie reflects the director's vision more than the actors' skills.
Salaar: Cease Fire - Part 1 (2023)
A twisted form of Game of thrones and Prabas is John snow
The movie is a disappointing example of Telugu cinema's lack of originality. The first half of the movie has no clear story line and confuses the audience. It feels like random video clips are stitched together and the audience has to fill in the gaps. Some parts are so dragged out that the audience loses interest in the point. The second half of the movie is a poor imitation of Game of Thrones, with exaggerated characters and unnecessary violence. Shruthi Hasan's role is irrelevant and perplexing. The movie tries to copy the storyline where the Targaryen children are killed, but with Prabhas' tribe instead. Ultimately I was completely able to relate Prabas to John snow. The directors have wasted a huge budget on a movie that lacks creativity and coherence.
Gandeevadhari Arjuna (2023)
Sick imitation of some form of John wick
Are u kidding me. If telugu audience want to watch John Wick they can do that by playing it in Telugu. They do not need a sick twisted and poorly replicated form to watch it. This is a perfect example of directors making poor content that's replicated, Indianized, and localized forms of movies from the west and east.
Please get some original thinking into play for god sake. The funniest part of the movie was Nazar in a global form asking for other country's companies not to dump waste in our country. India is a powerful nation which has its own laws to save and protect its soil by implementing measures to ensure safety. Asking for other countries not to dump waste while our country fails to enforce and penalize culprits is ridiculous. Before India asks for other countries to stop dumping, don't you think we should first take the matters into our own hands and penalize the companies? It's so stupid and ironic, coz you are telling other countries in a very dramatic way that I failed to do my job and you should start doing yours. I think is India is much more than what they have shown and in my view they have made India look bad.
