The Last Will and Testament of Rosalind Leigh (2012)
A very engaging and very deep experience...
Very deep and provocative experience, on a very personal level. It can make you feel not only genuine fear, but a very familiar anxiety that is hard to put into words. Along with emotions that run so deep within ourselves. The film has its own pace, eerie moments of silence, amazing performances by both the legendary Vanessa Redgrave and Aaron Poole as a mother and son with religious disagreements that years later estranged the two of them, leading them afterwords into an unexpected turn of events that culminates with an eloquent twist. i highly recommend it just let your self go and experience director Rodrigo Gudiño's amazing ability to transmit an array of deep emotions in his in such a beautiful way.
Adjust Your Tracking: The Untold Story of the VHS Collector (2013)
An awesome Documentary for those of us who are into the VHS Culture.
I was already eager to watch this documentary but i was completely blow away by it...The fact that i finally got to see the faces of those who appreciate those wonderful video treasures (even some of those who I've bidded against on ebay) who are really into the VHS lifestyle, and are the privileged curators responsible to take care of that powerful knowledge and art that is stored in that wonderful format we all know and love as VHS...Im so happy that i got the opportunity to watch this in my hometown(TJ), and also that we had a live feed via skype with the director/creators of this awesome documentary, its like any other, it was a very rare experience, the kind that you didn't want it to end, so hopefully we get an extended version soon, and maybe even participate somehow and/or help with a sequel :-).
