Ghosts (2021)
Interesting and Funny
I just started watching this show. I was unsure what to expect, but this show is over the top with comedy. At points, it is action-packed; sometimes, there are some confusing points, and then there are just breathtakingly beautiful episodes.
I am usually not into comedies, but with this show, you get a little bit of everything. I personally really like the Vikings. Sorry, a little spoiler but not huge you will see this Viking in the first episode.
I would recommend this show to people who like comedy and/or shows about people talking to ghosts. I am giving this show an 8/10 because there should have been an episode that explains each ghost. I am only at the beginning of the show, so this still may happen, and if it does, I will gladly change my rating on this show.
Star Trek: The Next Generation (1987)
Entertaining and Action-Packed
I would give Star Trek: The Next Generation a 9/10 rating. Throughout seven seasons, the officers of the U. S. S. Enterprise-D explore unknown worlds and encounter different alien races.
This show is set in the 24th century. Throughout the show, the officers encounter different problems and even lose many to different alien races.
There are many things throughout this show that I would love to see come to light that we could use to make life easier in this world.
The special effects are gorgeous compared to the original Star Trek. This show is action-packed from beginning to end. There is a delicate balance between all the actors; some parts of the show could be considered complex. This show is entertaining, and I recommend it to anyone interested in Sci-Fi.
Chuggington (2008)
Fun and Entertaining
I watched this show long before I had my son in 2022. I have always liked kid shows and movies. However, now that I have my son, who is almost one and a half. He loves it when I put this show on. I know the creators intended this show to be for three- to six-year-olds, but everyone of all ages can learn from this show. My son loves the beginning credits where the trains are singing. When he was little, I sang the song, and his face would light up.
This show is excellent for learning lessons that some people deal with every day, and I believe it will be beneficial as my son gets older so he knows what he can and should do in situations. Some things can be hard to teach, but Chuggington will help with the teaching process. Even though each episode is around ten minutes long, there is much information within each episode.
I recommend this to all parents and non-parents if you like kid shows.
Hidden Figures (2016)
Great moviw, Worth watching!
Going into this movie, I was not sure what to expect. The writers and director did a fantastic job with this biography and the history behind the story of what all African Americans went thou during these times in United States history, showing that not just whites and males can be intelligent.
The way that Kevin Costner played Al Harrison was spot on, and the way that he created an excellent environment for all African Americans within NASA just because his human-computer had to walk 30 minutes to use the restroom because there were no colored bathrooms within that area and only in the west side of NASA.
The history within this movie is a stark reminder of how the United States used to be and, in some places, the same. I do not know if everything this movie shows is entirely true with how African Americans were treated at NASA, but there is something to be learned from our past the color of skin has nothing to do with how smart someone can be.
This movie was action-packed, balanced, captivating, complex, entertaining, and fascinating. I would give this movie a 9/10. It is worth watching, especially if you are interested in history. To me, not much criticism could be said, and I believe that it was a great movie and is worth watching.
