Doza shtastie (2019)
Stunning real story movie
I loved it. The story is real and it is down to earth, human - relatable for all those who have been in the pits of dark times of any kind for that matter. The cinematography was very, very good. Very beautifully shot. Real stories, no matter if already explored in other movies as plot, deserve to be told and seen, if those who lived through them - want to share them of course. In this case the story being told first in a book and then in a movie, where the daughter plays her own mother, I believe has been therapeutic for those involved but also teaches others important lessons. I am stunned by the acting, the directing - finally a really well made contemporary Bulgarian movie among a few others, great from A-Z.. It is rare that I find it absolutely enjoyable to watch a movie from my country from start to finish, without wanting to change anything - neither in camerawork, script, cutting, music, acting - simply a great movie all around.
