Babylon (I) (2022)

Absolutely disappointing

Before watching it, I looked at its cast names and thought it's gonna be a amazing movie and one of the best ones in my life. The story was interesting to me and the posters were really nice. But the movie... was terrible!

I thought I'm watching a p##n at first! You don't need to show a lot of sexuality and nudity for making your watcher to keep watching. It was a definitely extravagance and not interesting to me. The film-maker should think about how to express their emotions and thoughts in a creatively and well, rather than thinking about how to add the most amount of sexuality and nudity to the movie! It's not gonna work, my friend. Not at least for a professional film watcher.

The Menu (2022)

Ok, but not amazing

If I want to speak straight from the shoulder, it wasn't something really exclusive and incredible, but it is absolutely worth it to take time to watch it. It was a bit wired and illogical sometimes, and writers could work on the script more, And some actors' acting was not believable and I couldn't take them serious. They wanted to show themselves terrifying and mysterious, but they couldn't do it. At least, I couldn't believe them.

You can see the contradictions of people's emotions at the first and at the end. They were on cloud nine before realizing what's going to happen to them. The actors did it and showed the characters feelings very well; you can see and feel their excitement, happiness, concern, bafflement etc. But some of them were really silly and If I want to be honest, It was hard for me to take them serious and believe them. Some of the actors' acting was really awful and even made me laugh, instead of getting frightened or nervous.

The main character was wonderful. Her awareness and her trying for escaping was really exciting. Her cold bloodedness and her fair in a same time was a beautiful contradiction which made the character more unique and mysterious. Her partner's actor did his best. His act was like living in the world, he can really convince you tht you're not watching a movie, but some real events of a real person who nothing is important for him and the taste and wonder of the restaurant and food is the only stuff which he cares about.

It was OK, but not wonderful or amazing. It worth watching, but just for once and not more.

Guillermo del Toro's Pinocchio (2022)

Magical and fantastic

I love "Pinocchio" and its unique story and characters more than anything. I've watched every movie or series that have published about this adorable story. The only one that I didn't really like was Disney's Pinocchio(Live Action) due to not-really good actings and un-necessary changes. But this one was incredible.

I watched it after Disney's version and I was waiting for facing with something normal and not-wonderful, like Disney's version. But I really surprised and watched it without pausing until the end. Everything was absolutely brilliant and magical. One of the points that make this version special is the scenes which clearly talk about historical and political things communicated to Italy and fascism. You can realize how propagandas had affected on people thoughts and showed them an adorable and bright picture of an Italy with fascism. You can see the ones who disagree with dictatorship and fascism and their hard and arduous life with soldiers and the ones who seek fascism.

I can't really talk about it anymore due to the fear of spoiling, but I'm able to suggest you this amazing film to watch it with your family and recognize new points about the classic and always memorable story, "Pinocchio".

Zootopia+ (2022)

The most enjoyable mini series that I've ever watched

My friend and I watched all the episodes of Zootopia+ and we really had fun. We watched each episode several times and recognized new things and details (which can be secrets!) every time. Although there were some little bugs and illogical events and things, these series made us satisfied and really delighted.

Every episode reminded me good moments that I had while watching Zootopia: The Movie. It is one of the best films I've ever watched and I feel that this mini series is a great and absolutely brilliant way for remembering all those fascinating and wonderful moments that we all had while watching Zootopia. It's a really great choice for watching with your family or friends and have a good time with them.
