This made me cry
9 December 2022
I loved the original Angelina since childhood. It was charming and enjoyable. This is an insult. When I first saw this, I wanted to cry. The CGI is awful, and Angelina is pink! They also showed Angelina upset that they moved and she couldn't see Alice anymore, yet Alice appears in later episodes and they didn't explain how she got there. The background music can be nice, but not as nice as the original's. The original had a 1930s England feeling to it that made it enjoyable. The CGI series just has a modern feel to it, and I did not like that because the original's setting is what I loved most about it. Ruined everything, don't watch. 1/10.

Awesome show
9 December 2022
As a 2000s baby, I grew up watching this show in the final years of my childhood. I watched it from the beginning to the very end. The finale felt rushed, but the rest of the series is fantastic and I can tell a lot of heart, thought, and love was put into this. The animation is fantastic, and if you look closely at the backgrounds it resembles a comic book. The characters are well done, and relatable. The stories are fun, deep, emotional, and make the show really enjoyable. It deals with serious issues, like the loss of a parent, and it also has some funny episodes like Daytrip of Doom. I loved this show very much and It is still enjoyable. I watched some episodes of the original recently but didn't like it as much. The animation wasn't very appealing, Huey Dewey and Louie were all the same character, whereas here they have their own personalities, and some of the stories were kind of silly to me. Webby is a annoying character in the original. But here, she is my favorite. I guess those who grew up with the original have a lot of nostalgia for it, as I have nostalgia for the reboot. But even fans of the original say this is superior. I wish those few negative comments I saw would've given it a chance and see how well-done this was. But the point is, this reboot is great and is a huge part of my final years of childhood. 10/10.

Gross
9 December 2022
I had a friend who loved this show. She made me watch a few episodes. I hated it right away. The show is disgusting. A bird threw up a pancake. And there are so many other gross things I don't even want to think about. Not to mention, the voice acting is annoying and the animation is horrible. Do not get me started on the theme song, which annoys me to death to this very day. I did not say these things to my friend because I didn't want to hurt her feelings, but I avoided watching this show since that day. Luckily, I managed to talk her into playing board games and things like that instead of watching this. To you who reads this review, Don't watch this if you don't like gross stuff. 1/10.

Mostly good
9 December 2022
Qubo Channel aired this show during my childhood. I thought it was pretty good. The only problems I had with it was Otto crashes the plane in literally every episode, although Doki's line "another perfect landing" is sarcastic and hilarious. The rest of the show is great. Though the animation could of been better, the characters are likable and they teach about cultures which is good and makes the show unique as not many shows teach that. Although Otto's crashes were annoying, the scenes where they try to fix the plane can be funny. The only other problem I had with this show is not because of the show itself, but because Qubo never aired the 3rd season! Also, Doki Rocks Rio is terrible. Otherwise, this show is great and teaches about cultures! 8/10.

Used to hate, but now I like it
9 December 2022
When this first came out in 2009, I was angry. The characters looked totally different from the 2003 series, and it was a completely different setting. However, I ended up watching some episodes on the Hub, and what do you know I actually LIKED it! It is totally different from the 2003 series, but it managed to be good in its own way. The morals are better than the 2003's. The animation is pretty good for CGI. And the characters are very relatable as well. Some episodes are hilarious, too, like "Strawberry's House Pests" and "Team for Two". In later seasons, they introduced a pop star named Cherry Jam. She always got on my nerves and I didn't like her very much, but other than that the show continued to be good. Season 3 re-introduced Huckleberry Pie, who now has a business that helps homeless dogs find owners. The puppies are pretty cute too. I don't like Season 4 that much, Sour and Sweet are unlikable, and Apple Dumplin is Strawberry's cousin when she is supposed to be her sister, and the stories are dumbed down and silly. But Seasons 1-3 are great. Overall, pretty decent series. 9/10.

Angelina Ballerina (2001–2009)

Loved this
9 December 2022
Angelina Ballerina is a British television series based off the book series of the same name. It premiered on iTV in 2001, and then came to the US in 2002 on PBS. I loved Angelina as a kid. The animation was beautiful and the music was charming. I fell instantly in love when I first set eyes on it. I used to own every DVD or VHS, until my mom gave them away, ugh. But I can watch it on Youtube. When they made the CGI one, I got upset and cried. That show ruined my childhood! But this, THIS will always be loved. Luckily, the new one got cancelled quickly. This show isn't as whiny as most people say. And to be honest, I thought Angelina's few tantrums were kind of funny, and I wasn't one of those who emulated what they saw on TV. Overall, charming cartoon of my childhood. 10/10.

Strange but enjoyable
9 December 2022
I liked this when I was little. Although, it was quite weird. Sophie had pigtails that could make her fly, Pickle has worms living in his crown (they are his pets) they turned a bathtub into a car, and a cat raised puppies instead of kittens. However, even though this show was really strange, I still find it enjoyable. The music is catchy and upbeat, especially the song they play in the middle of the show, often performed by Milkshake. The animation is so-so, but still appealing in its own way. The theme song will definitely brighten up your day with its happy lyrics. The morals are pretty good too. Overall, a strange, strange show, but good anyway. 6/10.

Great childhood cartoon

I loved this as a kid. My favorite episodes are Berry Fairy Tales, Cooking Up Fun, Rockaberry Roll, Berry Merry Christmas, and the one with Strawberry's old friend, Lime Light. My favorite character was the French girl, Crapes Suzette. I also liked Ginger Snap and Angel Cake, who are more major in the series. The animation is good, and they teach good morals as well. The songs are catchy and fun, and there is a wide variety of bright, fruity colors. I remember when the new series, Berry Bitty Adventures came out, I was really angry. But after watching some episodes, I began to like that one too. But this will always be my favorite. 10/10.

Charming television series
9 December 2022
I loved this as a kid. I haven't seen it for a while, but I remember the show was enjoyable with sweet and relatable characters and nice music. The animation was very well-done too. I remember the episode where Dandelion got kidnapped by two foxes at a carnival, as well as the one where one of the bunnies was looking for a rose in the snow (i think) and a grumpy old dog saved him from falling off a cliff. I also remember a musician who was a thief came to their house, and some of the bunnies got locked in a house with some storks, i think. It's been a while since I've watched the show, but that is what I remember. It got pretty dark sometimes and dealt with serious issues, and I think it was a pretty good show overall. Despite my bad memory, I still think this is a good show. 9/10.

A staple of my childhood
9 December 2022
When I saw the negative reviews, I decided to put my opinion here. Overall, in my opinion this generation is not too bad. It is my favorite MLP series, and it was a huge part of my 2000s childhood. A Very Minty Christmas is a personal favorite of mine. While some of the stories can be boring (Dancing in the Clouds, Meet the Ponies) I still think this series is wonderful as it is mostly good with charming stories (A Very Minty Christmas, Runaway Rainbow, Princess Promenade, Charming Birthday) Now, Friends are Never Far Away was terrible, but the rest of the series is a-OK. The scenery is beautiful, the music is nice, and overall it is a great childhood classic in my opinion. G3.5 should be avoided. Awful character designs, horrible stories, no wonder that one is hated. As for the original G3, a childhood gem of mine I will cherish forever. I respect those who do not like it, but I feel the fans need a voice. That voice is mine. 7/10.
