Surprised at the ratings

Just watched this now. Seen the ratings and avoided it. A friend wanted to watch it so I watched it with her. I really enjoyed it. It's all action, Pierce Brosnan is excellent as is Milla Jovovich.

Great chase around London showing some of the nicest parts of the City and also the awful Tube.

The end goal for the villains is clear from early on. The movement of our hero is desperate but intelligent a lot of the time mixed in with some good fight scenes.

It flew by for me, it felt like it was over in an hour. I'd rate it between 6.5 and 7 but I don't have the option to put an exact number on it.

Anyway it's 9 years old but I'd recommend it to all. Just sit back and enjoy the ride.

Sexy Beast (2024– )

It seems to me that these days any show that needs you to think gets a bad rating.

This show is incredible. Great characters, great acting, great plot, it's very intelligent.

Centre of the show is a calm, cool, intelligent nice guy whose a thief. His best friend is a loose cannon whose controlled by a dominant woman.

You've got ruthless killers on both sides of a feud and you have no idea how things are going to pan out. Does our central character get pulled into the feud or, with his intelligence, avoid the conflict.

It's only three episodes in but I just can't wait for the next one.

Anybody calling this show average or worse lacks intelligence in my opinion.

War of the Worlds (2019– )

How is this show rated so low?

I'd liken this show in many ways to the Walking Dead except it's a far more detailed, intelligent show. I don't understand how the rating is so low.

I recommend this show to everybody, it's fantastic and if the Walking Dead has an 8.1 rating then this should be 8.3.

Lots of fantastic acting and I'll just mention three who are Gabriel Byrne, Lea Drucker and Bayo Gbadamosi.

I can't imagine how anybody can find it boring, you have so much to think about all the time.

It's not a zombie show, it's sci-fi but the premise is very good. It's on season 3 now and the complete break from season two to three has been excellently weaved together.
