Like Mike (2002)
A Good Movie for the Children & Parents
Think of this movie as a basketball version of "The Natural" with a slant towards children with child settings, and make the main character too young instead of old. This is a basketball Cinderella story that is very enjoyable to watch and the children will like this movie. It is refreshing to see this movie being made, and "Lil Bow Wow" just exudes charisma.
Hey Arnold! The Movie (2002)
Not for Adult Viewing. Children only!
Only children below the age of 12 should be allowed to see this film. The rest of us should take a book, MP3 player, or just take a nice nap to endure the experience of this event. This can be best summed up as a "blown-up" TV movie being distributed into theaters. Children will want to see this film, and they will like and be amused by the movie.
Scooby-Doo (2002)
Waste of time
Overall, this is not a good movie and the children may like it. This was a waste of time, film, and the actors talents are completely wasted. You would think they would have come up with something better. Rent the videos.
Lost Horizon (1937)
Truly A Classic
Why this film was not listed as of the best 100 movies ever made is beyond comprehension. Many films on that list simply do not measure up to the acting, plot, and overall production for this film. While it is sad that certain scenes are lost, the best version available is still worthwhile viewing. This film is highly recommended to all.
Return to Never Land (2002)
AWFUL!!
After 50 years you would think they could come up with a better sequel. One could come up with something better in 15 min. and do a much better job. Disney must be desperate to release this picture and at best this is a direct to video type of item, and is not suitable as a theatrical release. But fear not, your children will probably enjoy this "movie" however adults will be shocked at this trash that Disney has chosen to inflict upon the general public. What happened to all the truly talented people who work at Disney?? Obviously they were not involved with this film.
