I agree with the negative reviews here. The movie was stupid and illogical. They could have just opened the door and all ran away. End of problem (and movie). After watching it, you have no idea why this happened or by whom. No motive, no plot, no logic. The actors put in an effort to make their characters work but that's about it. Yes, it had some terror and suspense. But no real story. Just an apparent random terrorizing act, albeit in reality seemingly well-planned. At least Alice Eve was really cute to look at. But the rest of the movie, characters, plot, story was garbage. I thought the movie might have a really weird and macabre "twist ending" like the movie High Tension, where the camera video playback shows that the main character and supposed Good Person (in this case David) really killed everyone (for his reasons) and the Man outside was just a figment of his imagination. But no, this movie was much more brainless and unimaginative than that. Bottom line. ATM stands for A Trash Movie.

This movie makes no sense. Sorry fake rip-off of Saw movies. The best actor was the hanging phone-booth telephone cord at the end. I feel it just wasted my time, except for a few tries at gory death scenes. The ending was non-existent. Left you hanging just like that telephone cord at the end.
The trailer sucked me in. I had seen one of the other Escape Room movies with the same title. And it was infinitely better. The nudity was superfluous and nonsensical. I must admit however that Elizabeth Hower was quite attractive, both as an alluring character in the very beginning (but only then) and in her appearance. That's it. As for the rest of movie, plz hit escape button.

Avarice is pretty close to a bullseye

Not bad overall, as a low budget action thriller, Australian flavor at that. I'll let other reviewers give you the plot details. I'll focus on impressions.
Nice locales. Some menacing home invader bad guys. Acting is decent, not great. Story is but simplistic and done before in various flavors. But the movie will hold your interest.
And offers a real twist with archery action angle. Now can arrows really outfly bullets?? Of course not, but who wants to spoil the fun. Just enjoy.
The lead Gillian Alexa playing the archer Kate Matthews does a creditable job, but is slow at first to win you over in her character until the bad guys show up.
But I think she's kinda cute, so I give her a strong pass. Lol Heck, by the end of the movie, even the bad guys seem to have been impressed with her.
Check the movie score at the end, "Brave" by singer Candice Callaghan. Almost has a Christian rock type melody to it. Very nice.

The movie was slow and not explained well. Same for the dialogue. I couldn't really distinguish between the dead characters, who they were, their relationship etc. It had the seeds of what could've been a good movie. But it fell flat. Best candidate for Alzheimer's movie of the year. Forget 'bout it!

Terrible. Worse than the original. Boring and uninspiring at all levels - storyline, action, dialogue and acting.
Kelly Greyson looks fine and was the only thing that held my interest. The rest of the cast should either retire or quit or take up another hobby.
The Fortress itself was the only thing interesting in this movie concept, and it was all explained in the original.
The rest of the movie should quickly be placed into environmentally-friendly toxic waste removal.
