Candy Corn (2019)
It has its strong points.
I gotta say, I thought the style of the film (in terms of picture) was pretty cool. It kind of had an old school feel. I thought that the VFX on the monster was pretty darn good. The acting was ok, Pancho really shined. The biggest issue I had is that there wasn't a "score." I could hear the same riff over and over again. I immediately knew that they didn't have a composer and the producer most likely handled the music. I watched the credits to check my knowledge and yeah. That's what happened. This movie would have been a lot better with a decent composer on board. Also, the amount of Tony Todd screen time was very disappointing. I know how much he costs, so I imagine that's why there wasn't a composer, hehehe.
The Slayer Chronicles - Volume 1 (2021)
Tuvok really nailed it this time!
This is a really cool one, it pays homage to the early days of vampire films, except the VFX are way better. It's funny, it introduces a new vampire slayer and has some really cool stuff going on with the astral projection. It was a bummer that the coven seemed to have all died so fast. Richard Tyson was mind blowing, that old dude's still got it! Definitely a must watch! Everyone in it was fantastic, and there was never a slow moment.
