WTF that was gruel

Please there is nothing, absolutely nothing to recommend this trash. What idiots paid for it to get made... It's so bad I can't be 4rsed going into detail.

Unhinged in every way

Just appalling in every way, no plot, no background to the characters, worst Crowe movie ever, couldn't wait for it to be over. I have no idea what movie the other reviewers watched...

It's watchable but can be irritating

Good for Tom Hardy fans to see him early. You have to consider the budget (with an R-22 depicting an early helicopter). I think it's as good as you can get for the money and the training sequences reminicent of FMJ but without the humour.

What winds me up as an Irishman is that the English Legionnaire criticises what the French are doing in Algeria for 127 years, yet what his own country did/ does to Ireland for 800 years and other countries...

Shocking

Gutted James Woods was attached to this disgrace. Shame on anyone that took a paycheck for this. If it was truly satirical and funny then maybe, but how could anyone read this script and then perform and think it was funny.... shame, shame, shame and shame.

Michael Moore might be a lot of things but at least he deserves a decent paridoy written by people that can actually write. There is always a minimum threshold that any so called feature film must cross to be acceptable. That threshold is 90 minutes at the absolute minimum. This film with credits does 81... nothing more need be said. Shame on those that made this disgrace of a "film".

Brilliant but a downer
6 November 2003
This is now THE legendary series to rival the Original Star Wars Series... The film was excellent but I think because of the ending and maybe because two films were made together there is something missing from this film.... to have both NEO and TRINITY die is wrong. The film ended on such a downer.... the war was over but there was no joy.... it has marginally been left open for another but the downer ending was not the right one.... the Matrix started with hope and struggle to victory, of course there are loses, but to lose the main protagonists at the end I feel and I don't think I'll be alone in this one that we have been a little cheated... (not only because there was not enough Persephone!!) The spectacle of Reloaded had disappeared in the 3rd.

Still, Lucas should have used the Wachowskis for the Star Wars prequels instead of the utter mess he has made.

Appalling

Definitely one of the worst Bonds of all time. As an avid Bond fan expecting more from each new film as the Brosnan series has gotten better as it has gone along. This film is totally disjointed and even more then usual the plot is weaker than ever.... it seems to be trying to appeal to a younger audience with clever directorial tricks, none of which come off.... the whole film is a mess and I could not wait for the film to end..... I think Bond should become more mature and adult in the future..... otherwise by trying to appeal to a more disinterested younger audience the people who grew up enjoying Bond will also become disinterested.....

Its time the producers got some guts.
