The Haunting of the Murder House (2022)
So well made
I was so impressed with everything in this movie. The lighting, the storyline, the special effects, and the plot was so intriguing especially for only being in one location. It was suspenseful the whole time- not knowing if they would get out, if harper would escape, it was a bunch of events that kept me on the edge of my seat and I loved every second. There were quite a few jump scares too!
The Haunting of the Suicide House (2019)
Pretty good
I like this movie. Not scary though. Kind of just there but I will continue to watch it. Again. I recommend this to those that don't want to get nightmares.
Into the Forest (2019)
Not my favorite
This uses found footage which is not my favorite but I do enjoy this movie overall. It's not super scary or anything it is just fun to watch as I talk to those apart of DBS.
The Devil in the Room (2020)
WATCH THIS.
You will NOT regret watching this. Extremely impressed with the work done in this film especially for an indie film company. The topics in this movie are extremely interesting for a horror movie and I was left jumping in my seat.
The Haunting of the Morgan Estate (2020)
Impressed for budget
The acting was extremely impressive in this film. The sound effects and music were perfect to set the scene. Watching this kept me on my toes. The whole time I thought it was going to be one guy then right towards the end the whole plot flipped and that definitely threw me. There were sufficient jump scares and it is moved up to one of my top DBS films.
The Girl in Cabin 13: A Psychological Horror (2021)
Never Forget. Best Work
LOVE THIS MOVIE. The torch scene. Carl. Everything about this movie is amped up for DBS. I felt like true story was able to be told in this movie and you all were able to capture exactly what you wanted. It was beautiful and spooky. The whole influencer thing made me so mad but tied in so well at the end of the movie and made it all make sense. You all never fail to tie together the small details and allow us to wait to piece together little ideas for ourselves.
The Invited (2017)
Holds a Special place in my heart
I watched this for the first time on movie monday. I had no idea where it was going. I love that. I love the small details like the phone number and the animal masks- they're kind of weird but make it spookier to watch. The beginning when they first got to the house and there was the first scare was probably the biggest gasp I've let out watching one of your movies. This movie made me so angry the whole time but I still will hold a place in my heart for it because of movie mondays.
The Whitlow House (2018)
Favorite DBS Film
The cinematography. Wonderful. Loved the storyline of trying to tune up the old home to spook others. The masks were something I will never forget about this movie. And the red paint was such a nice touch especially just not knowing what it meant and trying to figure it out (or asking kellan). I thought the two main actors were very compatible and worked well with each other and made it more realistic. Definitely my favorite DBS film.
