Por Thozhil (2023)
Highly Captivating
First of all, kudos to the ENTIRE TEAM!!!!!!!! Such an amazing film, no doubt. All of the technicians and actors and everyone involved did a fabulous job. There were no unwanted songs, romance and any kind of things that we usually would see in a "maas" movie. All of the characters had their own importance , even though their screen time was less. Doubts were arising in various scenes of the film - is he the killer, is this the climax?, entertaining and engaging us for a whole of 2h. The movie not only made us fall in love into it, but also gave us some valuable take-aways, it made us, viewers, to look into things with different perspectives. The director needs to be given the most appreciation, along with his technicians! Acting was top notch. Never expected Ashok and Sarath to become such an amazing combo!!
Dasara (2023)
Not very pleasing
A typical village based revenge story
The only part which made me give it a few stars was the fabulous acting and a little bit of entertainment in the last 30mins, other than that this is just another time pass film. U can watch it if u want to sleep in an hour or if u have immense amount free time. I expected it to be atleast a little good because of the 7.3 rating, but it turned out to be a little bit better than a disaster. The hype it got because of its promotions was something they shouldn't have done. It was fine uptil a limit, but it was overdone. It's just the acting for me, nothing else. Most characters had no importance, it was just focused on few characters. One happy thing to be noted is that the ones ignored weren't female characters and the heroines, they were given equal importance.
Shutter Island (2010)
Mind-blowing
I usually don't write reviews. The maximum I do is rate the films, but this movie is just so good that i can't hold myself from sharing my feelings about it to others. Martin literally said to us through this film : I'm playing with your minds using minds. The way this film was carried is remarkable. Leonardo's acting - absolutely top notch. The story has multiple twists, after the first one you feel like you have already gotten the jist of the story and how it is going to end but not so fast, there awaits you another one and another one. The film's ending will leave you shattered in a few interpretation. You will keep asking to yourself - what if? . A part 2 of this will definitely be a great success, if it comes of course.
Yashoda (2022)
Average
I'll cut right into the chase, the film isn't too good nor too bad. The storyline and plot seemed unique and new, but the presentation was not up to the mark, it left a number of loopholes which ultimately led to a dissatisfactory ending. Bgm, acting and casting were good and it's worth a one time watch. A yashoda-2 for clearing the loopholes should make up for it. It didn't feel like it was left off as a suspense thriller but felt like the director had totally ignored those areas.
In short,
Cons :
1. Not covering all the areas, and focused on only 1, no case was solved regarding Olivia's, arushi's death and how all of them got pregnant
2. Dialogues were weak
3. Average direction
4.
Pros :
1. Acting
2. Bgm
3. Good casting.

Good film
I don't why people are hating on this film saying that there is no story or whatsoever and are hyping over RRR which has negative story...i won't agree that it's a blockbuster but it's a good film and far better than RRR which has nothing but editing and VFX ...this movie an average film and is worth watching.
