Get Lucky (2013)
absolutely dreadful, waste of time & money
14 March 2014
I urge you not to waste your valuable time or money on this tripe. None of the characters made any sense - they were neither funny nor frightening. The storyline was laughable and also made no sense whatsoever! I can only imagine the reviews that say they liked it here were friends or relatives of those that made the film. I would give this zero stars but IMDb doesn't allow for it. The music was rubbish, the action so badly filmed, the attempts at comedy creaked so loudly I could hardly hear the rest of the dialogue over it. In fact, I'm not really sure why I'm wasting time writing this when I've already wasted 90 minutes watching the film. Sad, sad, sad, bad, bad, bad.

Mixology (2013–2014)
fresh and NOT about a dysfunctional family, at last!
27 February 2014
Finally a fresh new format for a sitcom - and these do NOT come often. Yes there are no stars in it (remember when Friends, Cheers, Seinfeld, Curb, Taxi, Simpsons started????) and yes it's a little edgy (no edgier than Modern Family, just without the cheese), it's a show with a voice that dares to say this isn't for everyone. Some may be offended at the humor, but just because you're offended, it doesn't mean you're right. This is funny, funny, funny. One ep in and I can tell we will grow to know and love these characters week-on-week. We'll look forward to coming back to them each ep to see who makes it and who falls flat on their face in the game of love. Great job ABC!

Great Night Out: Episode #1.1 (2013)
Season 1, Episode 1
Great cast, great feel, great show
15 January 2013
It's been a long time since itv put out any comedy, so expectations weren't particularly high for this one. But the opening episode was unexpectedly enjoyable. Really quite fantastic! A great cast, pacey script, nicely shot and a warm tone contributed to a hugely entertaining hour of Friday night TV. I particularly loved the cast - it wasn't the same old faces wheeled out from other comedies - they all seemed fairly fresh to the genre. Lee Boardman was the stand-out hilarious guy for me. The show isn't rude or cynical - just good, inoffensive fun for anyone. Highly recommend and I've got the feeling it'll just go on improving. 10 out of 10 (or maybe 9, so it has somewhere to go!)
