Eight for Silver (2021)
Simply a good watch
Hesitant to give this a watch but was fairly surprised with what i saw.
A Simple story to follow along that could have been told in half the time and shoots to 100% at the end.
Dramatic Dark Visual Touch to the film, earie post war feel that mainly takes place in one set location.
A Werewolf tale isn't shown to be one until later in the film and a spin on that i have not seen before.
The Haunting of Pendle Hill (2022)
I dont know who to blame,
I dont know if it was the story, Filter or the worst acting ive seen in a long time to blame for this film.
The story jumps back and forth in time in a really stupid manner that makes the two stories make no sense separately or together.
The weird orange dramatic filter throughout the film that tries to make it look better than it actually is.
The acting, Oh god the terrible acting and dialog through this film are absolutely shocking.
No actual horror elements to this film. Only one significant moment where something comes out of a cave was remotely eye-catching.
Jeffrey Charles Richards character is the only saving grace if you can call it that to this film. The little jokes and actual acting talent should have been showed off more in this film.
