Elsbeth (2024– )

Love This Show and Carrie Preston!

I loved this character from the first time on The Good Wife and then when she moved on to The Good Fight I was thrilled. I am so pleased that "Elsbeth" now has her own show. Notice several reviewers complained that it was just "Columbo" and no police work was shown. That is because it is NOT a "cop show", she is an attorney. Carrie said in an interview that when presented with playing the character 14 years ago a "Columbo type" character is exactly how it was described to her, so obviously the Kings have done a wonderful job with the character and the show.

Carrie Preston is wonderful. Evertytime I see her my day is better. I hope this show is given a true chance to succeed because it can. I hate we have to wait a month to be able to see it on a weekly basis but I will be watching for sure. EXCELLENT.

Blue Lights (2023– )

Gripping, Excellent, Waiting for Season Two!

One of the very best police dramas from the BBC that we have seen for a long, long time. We love BBC police dramas but this one ranks near the top! Another reviewer mentioned one of our US favorites from years ago in comparison, Hill Street Blues, we agree. We'd also rank it in company with another of our US favorites, NYPD Blue. We loved both of those and Blue Lights is right there with both of them. These characters draw you in, make you feel for them. This series is so well written and the acting is first class. We were pleased to see several of our favorite actors we have seen in other shows. Can't wait for season 2.

Thoroughly Enjoyable

An utterly pleasant, enjoyable program. Having a ghost as a key cast member is just a super idea and works so very well here. He gives the background of the entire family and its just wonderful.

I usually figure if Emilia Fox is in a program I won't be sorry if I watch because shas been one of my favorites for years and she didn't disappoint here. I've also been given some new people to watch for by watching this program.

I think many folks expect too much, why not be satisfied if you are entertained. This series is very entertaining. I have recommended it to several of my friends and they all have been pleased.

Broken (2017– )

Unbelievable!

I am a life long Catholic and never in my life have I seen a program/movie that has actually express my personal beliefs like this one has done. My husband & I absolutely loved this story and its portrayal of a Catholic priest that I believe is more real than anything I have ever seen. Sean Bean was extraordinary. Just wonderful! We loved every moment of it.

Not sure all Catholics would approve, not sure those not Catholic would feel the same way we did, but this is why we prefer British drama over many of the ones we get here in the US. We are lucky enough to view via Britbox and Acorn and we are so thankful, especially with programs like this one.

An Absolute MUST Watch

This is amazing, informative, gripping, funny, dramatic all in one documentary. One of the very best I have seen in years. Shows the inner workings of the Congress and shows history as it was being made. Not many things can do that.

It covers so many years you actually see two of Speaker Pelosi's grandsons grow up. The are toddlers when it begins and when it ends they are both taller than she is.

Historic comments by ex Presidents. Wonderful comments by former President George H. Bush. Shows what a class act he is.

Should me a must watch for all little girls in this country. Shows you CAN do anything you want to do and belive in. Just amazing.

Karen Pirie (2022– )

One of the BEST!

This is one of the best series I have watched in a long time. Action and story kept me guessing until nearly the very end. Everytime I thought I had it solved I had it wrong.

The acting is excellent. Many of these actors I had never seen before and I wonder why.

The writing is wonderful. SO suspenceful and many time soooo gripping! I was on the edge of my chair. I rarely watch an entire series in one sitting but this one I just couldn't bear to wait, I had to go onto the next episode. It is just so, so good.

I am hoping that this is just the beginning of a very long run for an excellent series!

Absolutely LOVE this show. Of course Nicola Walker is absolutely the best no matter what she is in but this show has really become my favorite. I hope there is a season 4 in the works. Love It!!!

A truly amazing series. The writing is wonderful. There are times the tension is almost too much to bear and then the next scene relaxes you with smiles and humor. A phenominal show. Hope it goes on for years!

Far Fetched

This has been my least favorite season and tonight's episode is at the top of the stack I believe. I've found it unbelievable the connection between Dr. Dylan and the undercover cop. Now tonight a mob bosses daughter? Really? Since day one, Chicago Med has been #3 for me of the "Chicago" shows. If things don't get better it may fall off my watch list.

Excellent, Gripping Series

Just amazing. So tension filled you almost have to leave the room. Love the acting and the characters. Unbelievable writing and plot lines. Well worth watching. Can't wait for season 3.
